This app was working for a good amount of time
I have had it but for the last two weeks the main screen doesn’t load, if I want to check my progress it doesn’t load either.

It just keeps getting better! Love the functionality and intuitive UI.
Daily devotional
Such a blessing and wonderful daily devotional. Plenty of resources to gain additional context and knowledge of the word. The Podcast is the icing on the cake, a verbal dialogue to further gain understanding. I especially enjoy the special guests too! Huge recognition to Emma for hosting and for all involved in making this application available!

Great Daily Bible Reading Plan
Join the Journey has really helped me stay consistent in my Bible reading. With app, I can read anywhere and that helps when I am busy. The devotionals after the Bible passages are helpfull too. Overall, Join the Journey is a great tool for getting to know God through his word.
Excellent Resource!
If you’re looking for supplemental info, a companion app or motivation and encouragement to start walking through the Bible, look no further. This app along with the JTJ podcast have been excellent resources providing nothing but scripturally sound teaching. I really enjoy hearing from the WM members they have do the devotionals as well as some of the elders occasionally 👌

Great Daily Supplement

I have read and worked through The Journey every weekday since January 2015. It has been an indescribable blessing.

Life changing
I have struggled with reading my Bible most of my life, I’ve started and ended a lot of plans, this one is different I think it’s because it’s a group of us reading through the Bible and Emma is awesome
What a Blessing!
My husband & I purchased/ordered our JtJ spiral journals at the Uncommon marriage retreat @Watermark last November and started the study on 1/1/23. Having the podcast to accompany the study has been such a blessing - Hearing Emma Dotter’s and her various guests’ insights on the Scriptures helps my understanding so much. We are enjoying it so much that we brought our journals and are currently listening to the podcasts each morning while we sail on a 15-day cruise to and from Hawaii!

Love it but.....
I really enjoy this app for daily devotion. The most important part, listening to the Bible, doesn’t always work. Some days it plays and other days it doesn’t. I find this very frustrating. Otherwise it is great.

Very Life Challenging
I love devotionals that challenge me to grow in my walk with Christ, and this app does exactly that. I could even see community groups going through this app at some point.

Consistently being trained by God’s word has changed my life! And this devotional helps me not just stay on track with a plan, but unpacks the text and depends my understanding that leads to application. The other great benefit is the opportunity to engage with others through the comments section!
Best devotional
I’ve been doing JTJ for the past four years and have loved every bit of it! The first year I did it we walked through the whole bible in a year, the next year was the gospels, last year was Psalms/Proverbs & this year is the book of Romans.! Each day you’ll read a passage, have a central truth, a devotional written by a member of Watermark, and discussion questions. Before doing JTJ, I was not in the word on a daily basis and honestly didn’t understand what I was reading. Now I love the word, and understand it! So thankful for this app & Watermark!

Great content. Minor bugs.
The content on this app is great. The layout looks great and I enjoy using it. I love it. Recently my wife and I both started experiencing issues where the devotional will stop loading new entries despite closing and restarting the app. Deleting and re-installing the app worked to refresh the entries to the latest. Wish this bug will be addressed, but other then that, I recommend this to anyone looking to spend intentional time with the Lord daily.
