I have been calling in more connectiveness and here is an app that allows me to post invites in advance and also in real time.
I can join events of friends and sometimes friends of friends. I can connect with my friends to do the things I already do and also invite them to join me for events they might not have been hip to. And vice versa! Drag Show at sunset? Yes please. Don't want to tell all of FB but just a few
select friends - Joinable!
You can follow an event or Join!
You can talk about the event (plan the place and time to meet, post pics etc)in the invite. Meet me for lunch now, I'm in the Mission! Maybe you're free too! How fun would that be? Outdoor events, Yes! Somewhat secret gatherings, specil events? Post an invite and select who can see it. Meet for a hike Wednesday at so and so? Yes! It's so easy. One can select how many people they would like to join them, open it up or limit the number in the group to one on one.
This app is opening my social bubble a little more without being overwhelming.
I am really digging it!

Got Bugs? Automatically shutting down? Yes!
This app isn’t very intuitive or seamless, with different functionalities that are attractive in combination but not actually that useful individually.
That said, I could forgive a middling app if it actually WORKED! Despite a newish iPhone with the current iOS running, I can no longer get the app to launch and stay launched. It closes almost immediately upon opening. Yes, I’ve deleted and reinstalled it; yes, I’ve powered on and off; yes, I’ve sent a message to the development team at Joinable. No results from any of these efforts. I quit!

Perfect for specific use
This app is great specifically for small community groups like teams or school plays. It’s hard to get everyone from email over to the joinable group, but once you do, nobody wants to go back. Everyone around the team got much closer, and they all know exactly where to go to see our schedule or game results.

Great tool for organizing your groups
This platform makes organizing volunteer or social groups really easy. I use it for school projects, group trip planning and my book club :). It has everything from event polls to messaging to photo sharing. Very simple to use, with all your groups and information in one place.
