Turn random funny thoughts into polished material. JokeNotes is a simple, fast way to capture jokes the moment they hit, then organize them into sets you can actually perform. Whether you’re writing one-liners, stories, roasts, or full bits, JokeNotes keeps everything searchable, sortable, and easy to revisit when you’re building a lineup. What you can do with JokeNotes • Capture ideas instantly before they disappear • Organize by categories (bits, premises, tags, themes, etc.) • Search and filter to find the right joke at the right time • Build and manage sets for open mics, showcases, and headlining slots • Refine over time with edits, rewrites, and punch-up passes Built for comedians, writers, and anyone who’s tired of losing good jokes in screenshots, notes apps, or endless text threads. Download JokeNotes and keep your best material ready when you need it.

What's New in JokeNotes

1.4.0

July 7, 2026

### Added - **"Continue Working on…" on Home.** The Home dashboard now surfaces your most recently created or edited bit as a full-width card, so you can jump straight back into whatever you were last working on. (Edits count real bit-form saves — text, categories, highlights, length — not ratings or dismissed set notes.) ### Changed - **Section-aware footer navigation.** Footer tabs now highlight based on the section a screen belongs to rather than an exact route match, so related screens keep their tab lit — the whole set-building flow (list → arranging → Performance Mode → rating) stays under Sets, and bit screens stay under Bits. The tab for the section you're already in shows selected and is disabled; you move within a section via the header back button and in-screen actions. - **Higher-contrast stage colors.** The bit stage stripe colors were retuned so each stage reads clearly against the white card background and stays distinct from the others: Premise orange (`#FA704E`), Testing yellow (`#FDD100`), and Live green (`#26A08B`).
