Convenient…access when traveling!

Have been reading JS online for years! Looks just like a newspaper page, take along when traveling to stay up to date on news, less expensive that receiving a paper copy, always available when you want to read…no waiting for a delivery! Plus we do our small part to save the environment and eliminate paper waste.

Having the Milwaukee JS

I enjoy starting the day with the paper as does my wife. We subscribe to the daily paper. The easy to use app allows us to “take the paper with us” as we travel. More importantly, read the same sections simultaneously without waiting. Thanks for an easy to use, simple app.

Daily ‘Paper’

I hated to give up the print edition but did so because of cost. As an old timer, reading the paper was always the way to start the morning. The best was the Sunday edition. Alas, I have gotten used to reading on my tablet. I do like being able to go back and read earlier editions and I appreciate not having the paper clutter.

Easy to use

I’m enjoying this app it’s easy to load and use when compared to the Madison paper app.

Reading MJS Online

I am a 70 year old who has always enjoyed reading the paper. I delivered newspapers when I was young and have subscribed to at least a dozen different papers in six states depending upon where I lived and worked. Recently, I switched from the print edition to the electronic version. I love it! Especially not having to go out to the mailbox on these single digit winter days. It easier and faster to read. The ability to increase the font size is a plus for us old folks. The Greensheet and the comics are easy to navigate and can individually be brought to the front. All in all, I now prefer the e-print edition. Joe Beaupre Glendale

Journal a wonderful App

So easy to use and handy to take along on a tablet, I-Pad or computer. It beats the pages of a paper so smooth and flowing from story to story.

Convenient & User Friendly

Easy to use with great features. A great way to keep up with the news.

Online version easy to read

The online version of the app is usually user friendly. I’ve noticed recently, that the article doe not continue, and I have to search through several pages to find the rest of the article. Can you fix that??

A wish for the timing of 10-15 years ago

I like JS but since USATODAY took over it’s become yesterday’s news a day late. Particularly in sports most daily papers have yesterdays scores and event detail today Journal-Sentinel won’t have that information until two days after it happened When I was a kid I had a Journal paper route and the Sentinel was a separate competing paper. I delivered the Journal everyday to my customers but I read the Sentinel to get current news and sports. I don’t know if you can delay your press by two hours so it’s current in the morning , but if you can it would be appreciated. I realize in the digital world you can update throughout the day and I do subscribe to your alerts. So, as the day goes on I ultimately receive even more than in the past. I still hope your first morning digital edition could be more current than it is. Otherwise, I’ve been enjoying the Journal for 73 years

Usability deteriorating

Each revision seems to get worse on the iPhone there is undesirable zooming and cutting off of half the page when zooming out. iPad is a bit more usable but has been having trouble downloading new editions ( 3 retries). Web version on the pc has annoying grey full page pop overs that must be dismissed
They need to take a look at the Guardian and emulate it’s usability

Another option

When the hard copy of the Milwaukee Journal isn’t delivered timely or not at at all to my apartment building for whatever reason, I have another option to see the digital copy on my I-Phone 12. A great new technology in our fast pace society today. Glad to have this option.

Some sections missing

Lately some sections are missing and/or jumbled. In particular, the home section is consistently out of order and completely missing content especially in the section listing recent sales. Please fix.

Much improved

They have improved this app. So far the latest version doesn’t have the bugs of the previous. I no longer have the issue of having to log back in. Keep it up.

Email articles

The MJS feature to email specific articles no longer functions when using an iPad.

Milwaukee Journal /Sentinel

The ability to navigate this daily newspaper is so easy! And its content has been very good not only with local news but non-local as well.

JS on-line

The new format for JS on-line is excellent! Two choices are given, and the one I like the best is more like reading a real newspaper. The quality of writing in this newspaper is top notch!

I enjoy reading the paper with this app.

I like the way the app works to move around as I read the paper. I like the flexibility to zoom in and out as needed. I have tried the other app but I don't like it.

Great APP

I loved getting the paper delivered but realized I wasn’t reading it all. This is a great way to get the paper like feel without all of the waste. Worked through a lot of tech issues and the APP works perfectly.

Excellent coverage

I use this app nearly every day. I feel the reporting is timely and in depth. Fair and reliable. Credibility is key especially in these times. The app is intuitive and easy to use. Thanks.

Take the J/S with us

We are retired and enjoy travel. Being able to download the newspaper anywhere we are is great. We especially like the print edition. It is
Much better than the NYT replica edition.
