I’m happy that I can keep a journal but it’s unfortunate that you cannot print or export any of the data you enter. It says you can in settings but it never works. I use this to keep a journal of my time and events with my children. I may need it for court one day. Suggestions? Is there a fix for this?

In the setting, press “Import And Export”, then choose “Export To File”, then you can save the file wherever you want.
Quirky, but just what I needed
I wanted something that was a fusion between a calendar and a simple notepad and got it - in a well thought out and beautifully clean package! The title appears when you tap on the calendar date and is easily editable from there. Go into the journal entry card for that day and start typing — if you type below the keyboard, just touch on the colored part of the card and scroll. The only bug for me is that when I’m done typing I have to exit out of the program then restart it so that the keyboard disappears and I can accept the entry. No big deal. I’m loving this app!

Perfect, except for a keyboard glitch
This app is exactly what I wanted. My frustration comes from the fact that as I’m typing, the keyboard constantly “hides” and I have to pull it back up. Seriously, the keyboard will disappear after nearly every character. It’s impossible to get through a sentence.

Frustrating
Keeps hiding the keyboard even when I’m in the middle of keying. Sometimes it hides it then, sometimes it waits a second or two after I’ve finished keying, sometimes it seems to leave the keyboard active for a long time. No way to change the wait time before hiding the keyboard and there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason why it hides it when it does.

Nice effort but...
I gave this a try but I found it less useful than what I’ve been doing with just the Apple Calendar. I’ve created an all day event named ‘Today’ for each day of the year that repeats yearly. Each day I can open this event, see what I was doing in previous years and add a note about the current day. Each entry begins with the year and the day of the week. Among other things I add notes on the weather. These can be searched easily.

Simple but...
I like the simplicity, but I can’t get the ‘Daily Notification’ button to work at all. Nothing happens when I try to select it.

Did you make sure you allowed the app to send push notification? You can do so in the settings app on the device: Settings -> Scroll down until you find Journal! -> Notifications -> Allow Notifications. I hope this helps.
Great app, maybe add ability to add photo
Great app, exactly what I imagined for a journal app. Maybe add the ability to add photos to the entry.

I love the very simple look to the whole app. You are able to have colored accents which make it pretty but I feel it might be a bit too basic.
If you are looking for an app that solely for writing entries, this is the best for the job! Although I am personally looking for something more interesting.

i love this app!
it's so helpful! the new update isn't the best but it still works! i think you should put a fingerprint on so no one can go through your journal. that's the only thing i wish the app had. otherwise, this app is amazing!
Latest Update is Garbage. Please fix.
There is no body to write your journal entry in anymore. There is only a heading where the text gets smaller and smaller. Please fix this or I will need to find a new app. PS Your App Support takes me to some weird Twitter page.

Good app but bad update
Overall this was a good app, but the latest update got rid of the ability to expand titles for days and caused me to lose almost 3 months worth of lengthy daily notes.

Broken
The latest update destroyed this app for me. All of the information I had entered for the past several months is now a “title” in tiny text that I can’t read. I must now copy and paste each day to another app...
