One important note: your private journal is E2EE — encrypted with a 24-word key only you hold. No metrics to chase. --- END-TO-END ENCRYPTION — HOW IT WORKS Journay uses XChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption. When you write a story, it's encrypted on your device before it leaves your phone. Our servers never see your private writing. Your secret key is a 24-word phrase you generate and store yourself — the only way to decrypt your stories on a new device. Journay doesn't store it.
