Speech recognition is a game-changer
My kids have played a lot of “educational” programs that have mostly just clicking around and listening, but Joy School English takes learning to the next level where they are actually speaking and responding with their voice while the program evaluates their speech and gives appropriate feedback. Starts with basic letters and letter sounds and progresses through decoding vocabulary words, phrases, and even story comprehension. On top of that, character values like honesty, perseverance, kindness, courage, etc. are interwoven into the curriculum, which is really important to me as a parent. There’s a nice variety of games, books, videos, and songs to keep kids engaged in learning that feels like play to the kids.
