About
More screen time? Let them beat you.
Joya Home turns screen time into a game. Instead of haggling on the stairs, you challenge your kid: if they win, they win their minutes. If they lose, they get a forfeit. Not just rules and limits: we play together.
PARENT-VS-KID BATTLES
Seven quick live games, each on their own phone: rock paper scissors, Connect 4, Snake, quiz (plus your own home quiz), mental math, blitz chess and the knowledge duel, where each player gets questions at their own level. One rematch, then a decider if it's a tie. The forfeit becomes a photo mission. On Sunday night, the family finds out who is champion of the week.
SCHOOL THAT PAYS IN MINUTES
The weekly math test: 20 questions at their level. Their score turns into screen minutes. Times tables, dictation, vocabulary, general knowledge, logic: weak spots come back until they are mastered. A report every Sunday, badges and a progress curve.
TIME IS EARNED, KEPT, REQUESTED
• The time bank: minutes they earn are kept for 7 days.
• Photo missions: they send the photo, you approve.
• Time requests and "5 more minutes?": yes or no in one tap.
• Sweet notes, full screen.
"DINNER!" AND BREAKS
One tap, and your message fills their whole screen, with your voice if you like. A countdown, then a break. You see who replies "Coming!". Not seen? The call comes back. Homework, dinner, bedtime: all can be scheduled. The family break pauses the whole home, parents included. The basket by the door: they put their phone on the NFC sticker, or scan the QR code. Calls and emergency numbers always stay open.
CLEAR LIMITS
A daily limit, a limit per app, new app installs and in-app purchases blocked if you wish, adult websites filtered.
KNOW THEY'RE OK
The map with their location and battery, their trips, family places (arrivals and departures), the "Alert my parents" button. Location is off by default: you turn it on, and they know it.
EVERY FAMILY IS DIFFERENT
Two homes for separated parents, each with its own rules, one subscription. The other parent joins with a code. Sitters, grandparents: access for 12 hours at most. Visiting friends follow your rules, without ever being monitored. 9 languages.
NOTHING HIDDEN
In their app, your kid sees the exact list of what you can see. Never all their conversations, never their photos. No ads, no data selling. History erased after 30 days. Hosted in Europe.
HOW IT WORKS
Install Joya Home on your phone, and the free Joya Home Link app on your kid's phone. They join your home with a code or a QR code. Breaks and limits run on Apple's Screen Time: you, the parent, give your approval on your kid's phone.
SUBSCRIPTION
Auto-renewable subscription, monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The price depends on the number of children; all features are included, for both parents, with Family Sharing. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage it in your Apple account settings. If you stop, your kid's phone is never locked.

October 19, 2026
Each child's card now tells you when location is turned off on their iPhone, or when Joya Home Link isn't up to date, and what to do. On iPhone, the Activity screen explains why Apple sometimes doesn't show screen time.
