Subscription cancelled the same day and yet they are charging me

Subscription cancelled the same day I subscribed and yet they are charging me already for a second week . I deleted the app right after I cancelled the subscription. I subscribed on September 2nd and right after reading part of a book and not able to finish it due to the subscription only being for short stories I immediately cancelled it as I was really interested in the one book yet couldn’t even read it

No way to cancel

I have been trying to cancel my subscription and there is no way to do it. Despite downloading the app through my Apple account the only record I have of the transaction is my credit card statement. The help center says to cancel through my Apple account but there is no subscription listed and I have no receipt for the transaction either. This is ridiculous I’ve had to revoke payment authorization through my bank just so I won’t be charged again

No way to cancel

It says in the "how do I cancel" section to go through Apples App Store. There isn't a way to cancel there. It's not under subscriptions, either. I've reached out using the "contact us" option, but haven't heard anything yet. :(

This is a scam! I should have read the reviews

I should have read the reviews beforehand. I signed for a week trial and the app doesn't show in my subscription tab to cancel. I feel stupid rn

Do not get this app

Impossible to cancel, there is no way to cancel in app!!! They will keep charging your card!

Scam

Impossible to stop them fraudulently charging your card. Should appear as an Apple subscription that’s easy to delete, but doesn’t. Should be removed from the Ap Store.

Doesn’t let you cancel!

Literally can’t cancel my subscription cause it says on the app to do it through app store and yet it doesn’t even give that option as it doesn’t show up in apple subscription. Horrible app.

JUST DON’T DO IT

Worst one yet do not waste your money they have the most strings attached to everything you do within the app. Absolutely terrible 10/10 DO NOT recommend

Unsubscribe impossible…

This app is not user friendly and tricks you into membership and makes it impossible to unsubscribe. I does not show up in apple subscriptions or any or my email subscriptions either…. Still have not figured out how to cancel properly.

Cannot cancel subscription. App offers no assistance, and I’ve even emailed them regarding cancelation.

Unsubscribing is an issue

Some of these apps never show up under your subscription in Apple and make it harder to unsubscribe

Subscription can’t be cancelled??

I wish I had read the review before signing up as I can’t cancel my subscription- there are no contact details, there isn’t a subscription in my App Store (but I’m sure money will go off) and this should 100% be reported as a scam. I’ll have to go to the bank to sort this out!!

Scam - cannot figure out how to unsubscribe

They make it virtually impossible to unsubscribe, and user support is unhelpful. Still attempting to find a way to cancel my membership

Terrible Subscription

Couldn’t cancel through the JoyNovel app — had to go through my PayPal account — thankfully I’ve learned my lesson with these types of apps and use my PayPal account for everything like this. Also when you do pay for a weekly membership you don’t get berthing free just the stupid short stories. You get an allotted amount of coins daily/weekly (can’t figure it out due to poor wording) to read the actual novels. So I started a longer novel not knowing this & now I can’t finish it and I spent $20 for a weekly subscription. They are crooks like any other one of these apps. I don’t know why this where the authors want to post their work, but it makes me learn the authors names and I stay away from them if I see them any where else.
