Response from developer

Hi, Thank you so much for the five stars, and especially for catching these translation issues — that's exactly the kind of detailed feedback that helps us improve. We'll get these corrected in a future update. Thanks again for taking the time to point this out.

Another surprised at the low rating.

Tried it with my iPad, KEF wireless speakers. Far better than the KEF app. I’m enjoying listening via JPLAY app. I tried ROON but found it too complicated to setup.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this, Bob — it genuinely means a lot. You’re absolutely right that the ratings can be misleading. Unfortunately, people tend to be far more inclined to leave a negative review online than a positive one, so honest feedback like yours is incredibly valuable in giving prospective users a fairer picture. I’m delighted JPLAY is working so well with your iPad and KEF wireless setup, and that you’re finding it more enjoyable than the alternatives. That’s exactly what we’re aiming for — great sound without the complexity. Happy listening! Marcin

Perfect with DRUP

Perfect player for me. No need of server. Just connect your Qobuz or Tidal account and play music. I use it with DirettaUPnPrenderer. It feels like match made in heaven. The background is black and micro-dynamics is off the charts. Apart for that it works so well with HQPlayer. Better than Roon. You can change the filter and HQPlayer settings from within the Jplay itself and no need to go to HQPlayer server. Lot of information related to HQPlayer playback is visible as well. If you want something to work with your Diretta setup then look no further.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! Great to hear JPLAY pairs so well with your Diretta UPnP renderer and HQPlayer setup — "black background" and "micro-dynamics off the charts" is exactly what we aim for. Glad the in-app HQPlayer controls are useful too. Enjoy the music!
