had a very concerning experience on JSwipe. I matched with what appeared to be a fake profile, and after moving the conversation off the app, the person attempted to extort money from me. This was clearly a scam. I reported the profile, but an app focused on dating and trust needs stronger identity verification and faster action against fraudulent accounts. Users should be extremely careful until JSwipe improves its verification and safety measures.

People can be nightmare in this app.

Terrible app. Full of fraud and scammers. Hasn’t been relevant in 10 years. Trust me — don’t bother!! Not worth it.
Scammers only site
Paid for a premium subscription, but the platform is entirely overrun by creepy scammers. Customer service and Apple refuse to refund the fee despite the platform being unsafe. Super creepy and no authentic users on the site. All fake stock photos with users pretending to be international doctors.
Buggy Facebook authentication
I like the app—when I can get into it. But the Facebook authentication is very buggy, and frequently interferes with access. This has been going on for a long time, and it needs to be fixed.
Lots of scams
I highly recommend to stay far away from this dating app. There are a lot of fake/scam accounts and it seems the app isn’t doing by much to change or fix this. I stopped using this app a few years ago and came back to find the issue has only gotten worse.

Please allow changing email address in app. Please fix emails not sending to Sign in with Apple email addresses. Please stop spamming notifications to pay for subscriptions. Please remove suggestions for events if I tap “dislike” instead of showing it again and again and again until I tap “like”. Please add dark mode. Please only show people in the distance range I selected. Instead of asking me to subscribe and pay, make the app good, and people will do that of their own volition. Make it clear what I get if I pay.

Log-in broken once again…
Latest update broke the app. Clicking on Jswipe’s log-in option “login with Facebook” does NOTHING. Nothing happens. It’s broken. Nothing opens. How many times now has this happened? I’ve lost count.

App shut down?
I had a woman I matched with a few days ago and had been chatting with, and when I went to message her today suddenly the app stopped working. I couldn’t send messages or anything. I thought it might be an internet issue or a bug so I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, only for it to not even let me sign in. I tried to go to the website for support only to find the website domain no longer exists. Did the app shutdown? Also now I can’t message her anymore and I never got her contact or anything.

Scammers and old profiles
Almost all the matches I’ve ever had have been scammers! It’s really easy to spot them that at this point the app developers are choosing not to do anything about it!
Users generally don’t fill out their profiles past 3 pictures and that’s it.
Old profiles are not swept very often. Sometimes profiles are duplicated.
App breaks down on a regular basis.
There’s just not a big enough pool of users to justify the outrageous price for premium!

Bots and unactive accounts everywhere
The only people I have managed to match with have been bots or fishers using pictures of random online models on their profile. I had this app for 6 months looking for an actual connection and I got zero of that from anyone real. Unbelievable

This dating app is an insult to Jewish people! There are more scammers here than real people! This app should be shut down by the US and Canada government because JSwipe is not even asking people to put where they live, What kind of work they do, their height, their profession! This app is 90% scammers!

Defective App doesn’t work
App has all bad reviews. Look under “most recent” reviews not “most helpful” Positive reviews are fake marketing. Read them. The app has been broken for years. When you swipe “no” it will continue to show you the same profile 6-7 times and doesn’t move on until you close the app. They also make you swipe through ads over and over again because the app gets stuck but I think it’s done on purpose. They will also send notifications as though you have a match and when you open the app there’s no new match. Sometimes you close the app and it’s still stuck on the same profile you declined.
The App also has safety issues with lots of fake profiles and predators and the developers don’t do anything.
