GREAT app!!!

March/2026- this app is better than ever! It allows me to jump rope for as long as I’d like, and instead of focusing on how many jumps I’m doing I can just listen to music and connect with God— the app does the counting and tracking for me which is the beauty of it! Also, it’s fun that the app now shows other users as well so you can see that you’re jumping with a community of people around the world who share your passion for jumping rope!

Thanks for your hard work in creating an app I love so much! And for those considering it, the lifetime membership purchase is totally worth it.

I love this app! I start it on my Apple Watch and then get to jumping. It’s perfectly accurate for me and helps keep track of my jumps, jump time, heart rate, all through a long work out. The only thing I wish the app had was a feature to gather statistics -total jumps and total jumps over a certain month!

Update: they updated the app and I love that the stats show total all time jumps!

Terrific app

This is a remarkably great app. Personally I’m glad the developer is now charging a bit for it — it makes the developer invested in the work, it’ll be maintained—and improved. The best feature for me is that it reports my workout to Strava (I use jump rope as the starter to every resistance training — so it’s a minor part of my fitness training, but does burn a surprising amount of calories and also enhances my activity, calorie burn, and at training. Great stuff! (I love it so much and appreciate the work I bought the lifetime pass).

No more statistics

Such a shame that a basic functionality like viewing our cumulative jump statistics have been taken away and blocked behind a paywall. I’d be willing to pay $10 or even $15 for lifetime
full access. But $150 is an insane amount.

USE TO BE GREAT

This use to be a great app…. Until this update. In this update the app added “unlocking” fitness insights. Unlocking aka charging you for info you use to get for free. The people that had the app before this update should be grandfathered in to the info we were once getting for free. I will most likely be looking into switching to a different jump rope which doesn’t charge for me to see my all time jump number. This is something that should have been charged from start of the app… bad business.

Response from developer

Hi there, thanks for the honest feedback. You’re right — the all time jump count is now part of Fitness Insights. That change helps keep the core jump tracking free while funding ongoing development. I do want to recognize long-time users, so I offered a loyalty pricing tier for those who had been using the app before this update. If you didn’t see that option or ran into issues, please reach out at contact@jumpfit.com and we’ll work something out. I appreciate your support and the time you’ve spent with Jump Rope Fit. —Mark Jump Rope Fit
