Third gem in 1-4 (Biomech base 4)
This game is great. No ads or in-app purchases, and it's been updated over the years to not be incompatible. Easily the best and probably only truly great game on the app store.
However, that bastarding third gem in 1-4 is enough for me to dock a whole star away. That is abhorrent dickish design

So good my dad came back
This game is so good it made me no longer paralyzed from the neck down, it cured my cancer, it made me unsubscribe from dream, which brought my father back, it gave me the idea to start a business in curing cancer and I am so close to finishing. This game is the best game ever and if anyone says otherwise, they just don’t have a dad like I do.

After playing this game for 15 minutes I now have definitive proof that there is no just, smiling god above us. I did really like the retro style but only pee blood now..

I Absolutely Love This Game! But...
I Can’t Play It... iOS 11 Won’t Let Me...
Kinda misleading
The likeness of this game alone will make you think you're getting an mega-man esque type game. Instead what you get is just another run and jump game. Which is a BIG disappointment cause I really would had more fun playing it that way than this uncontrollably mess of a game. To not be able to control your character in a game like this is an missed opportunity of fun players could have had with this game. A shame this game turned out to be yet another clone with a decent paint job and okay quality content. If you like another dash and jump into your library of redundant app games, then this is for you. If not then I suggest you go play games like "Bill Kill'em" it may not have an end game with levels in it but it's the closest you're gonna get to a platform shooter.

Death Is Your Fault... 85% of the time.
This is a great game. It's addictive to struggle to overcome each level. The challenge is enough to keep you coming back, but not so bad that to make a casual gamer (like myself) quit. Even after beating it, I find myself coming back to it again because there's a certain satisfaction in trampling over the levels that once gave me grief.
The controls are as close to perfect for this style as you'll get... 85% of the time. There will be times you're sure you hit jump, but somehow the shooting ate your jump. Or sometimes the jump doesn't hold as long as you pressed it, due to a slight change in pressure from your finger. These aren't drawbacks in the control scheme, just byproducts of playing with oily human fingers (mostly).
Positives: Fun gameplay and challenge.
Negatives: Control (slightly) and some of the jumps are just a bit too frame perfect for this control scheme (for my taste).
Overall Opinion: Definitely buy it! It's worth the asking price.

Not Megaman At all
This game is trying to make it look like its the next mega man, but it's not even close. This game is more like "Geometry Dash" than anything else. You cat control the character, all you can do Is jump and shoot while the game forces you to move to the right. You can't move! You only go to the right! And you die CONSTANTLY. Don't get this game. It's not worth 1.99.

Great Challenging Platformer (Don't listen to 1 Stars!)
Amazing Platformer with awesome 16 bit genesis-like soundtrack. Very responsive controls and fair , but hard challenging difficulty. Don't listen to the bad reviews they probably have faulty or dirty screens or don't have the tiger reflexes to play this.
Run, jump and shoot.
The zero amount of control is horrendous. Sure, you can jump and shoot but your jumps have to be precisely on point or you die, over and over again until you learn this game is a true waste of your life.
I can understand wanting to play a fun 2D model game but you'd get a better app in the free game category.
I'm disappointed in ScrewsAttack and I can't say I'll take up one of their games again, after this failure.

It does feel a bit like megaman, it's fun, good level design.
Can't stop thinking it might be more fun with onscreen controls tho.
Also, I can't unlearn 20 years of jumping with my right hand, so I'd appreciate a setting to flip the controls around :)

This is a great Jump'N'Shootin' experience
For those who like Mega Man or Contra, I highly recommend this game. It has great quick witted platforming challenges, epic power-ups, great music, and a straight-to-the-point storyline. There are three gems in each level, and you need to collect them all on order to beat the game. If you die, it's your fault. If I did something wrong, I knew I made a mistake whether I jumped too late, too early, didn't shoot an enemy in time, or accidentally missed a gem. You need to take your time, and yeah, you can't stop running, but there's walls you can stop at to make sure there's no enemies. It's all about time, and it's really tempting to jump or shoot at the wrong time, which I believe is part of the challenge. That's why it makes it so interesting. The power-ups are super cool looking. You get a double projectile to do more damage, and if you get the power-up again, you get a triple spread shot, that can kill enemies in three angles. Jump'N'Shoot Attack is a simple and straight-to-the-point game. However, the game is not perfect. First of all, there are no bosses, which I feel like it's perfect for this game, even if it involves running nonstop. Second of all, even if the power-ups are really cool, it's also the only power-up in the game. And yeah, there is one-ups now and then, but I don't necessarily think it's a power-up, just an extra life. Why not have a power-up that gives you an extra hit, or maybe a temporary invincible power-up or even a force field. Lastly, the game is pretty short. You can take your time to beat each level, even of it gets progressively more difficult, but some people can quickly realize what they're mistakes are, and finish the level like that. There are four worlds and four levels in each world. And each level can take less than a minute. It may not be a perfect game, but I feel like the game is bringing me back to the early NES days. Jump'N'Shoot Attack gets 4⭐️'s/5⭐️'s and yes, it's definitely worth 2 dollars. 😉

A runner that is a marathon, not a sprint
Made by the same guy who did Manos Hands of Fate and AVGN Adventures, it comes as no surprise that we are delivered another fantastic experience. The levels are challenging, not frustrating and the controls are tight. When you screw up, it is your own fault...and it captures the "one more try vibe." Where other runners are one and done, you'll keep coming back to this one long after you beat it. Bravo Freakzone, bravo.
