About

JumpRail connects your Bosch laser rangefinder to your iPhone or iPad via Bluetooth, turning it into a precision measurement system for long jump and triple jump competitions. Works best with the JumpRail Kit (available at jumprail.co), which includes the sled, laser sight, and mounting hardware. You provide the unistrut rail (available at any Home Depot or Lowes) and the Bosch range finder. Compatible with any Bosch GLM or PLR Bluetooth rangefinder you already own. LASER-ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS Pair with any Bosch GLM or PLR rangefinder over Bluetooth. JumpRail fires the laser, reads the distance, applies your board calibration, and records the result -- all in one tap. Supports both imperial and metric units with configurable rounding. BOARD CALIBRATION SYSTEM Calibrate multiple boards by entering a known tape distance and taking a laser reading. JumpRail calculates the offset automatically and warns you when calibration goes stale. Set up multiple boards with custom names and colors for triple jump events where athletes jump from different boards. FLIGHT MANAGEMENT Organize athletes into flights with ordered rotation or open pit modes. Set max attempts (3 to 6 rounds), track scratches and fouls, and see real-time rankings by best mark. The athlete queue keeps the competition moving -- auto-advancing through rounds so you never lose your place. IMPORT ATHLETES IN SECONDS Snap a photo of a printed flight sheet and JumpRail uses on-device OCR to read names and teams. Select the athletes you want, tap import, and your flight is ready. You can also add athletes manually or look them up by bib number. LIVE SYNC TO RACEAPP Connect to RaceApp.net by scanning a QR code. Measurements sync to the live results page in real time as you measure. Athletes, marks, and scratches all push automatically with offline queuing and retry for spotty meet-day Wi-Fi. EXPORT RESULTS Share flight results as CSV or in standard HyTek format for import into meet management software. Results include place, name, team, all attempts, and best mark. SCRATCH & FOUL TRACKING Record scratches with a single tap. The scratch button is always within reach on the measure screen. In ordered rotation mode, the Pass button records a scratch and advances to the next jumper automatically. BUILT FOR MEET DAY - Works on iPhone and iPad - No internet connection required for core measurement - Background Bluetooth keeps your rangefinder connected - Haptic and audio feedback confirm every measurement - Stale calibration warnings so you never run with a bad offset - History tab lets you review, reassign, and annotate any measurement No subscriptions. No ads. Pair with the JumpRail Kit from jumprail.co for the complete system, or bring your own setup — all you need is a Bosch Bluetooth rangefinder.
