love it
Can‘t load notebook
Edit: I could fix the connection issues eventually. Connecting to a server exposed via tailscale did not work and I had to change my setup to use a https reverse proxy. Now it does work fine most of the time, but occasionally there are errors and the error messages of this app are very unhelpful to diagnose and fix any problems. I would appreciate more informative error messages.

Hey 👋—JupyterLab 4 isn’t fully supported yet I'm afraid; in the meantime, you should be able to connect by installing Jupyter’s `nbclassic` package, and updating the server's URL in Juno Connect to `{SERVER_ADDRESS}/nbclassic/tree`. This will work seamlessly alongside JupyterLab 4 / Notebook 7 installation using their backend components. Fell free to reach out to help@juno.sh if you stumble upon any issues. 😇

Can‘t load notebook
Elevates Jupyter and the iPad to their best selves
It takes Jupyter notebooks from being rather awkward on the iPad, to being a real joy to use. And it turns the iPad into a convenient tablet device for analysis which no other device can exactly replace. In other words, it combines these two products in a way that creates a unique and new version of each one, and it's great!
My only complaint about it, really, is my fear that it will go away, because it is not popular enough to support sustained development. I hope it sticks around.
My main feature suggestion is that it might be cool to lean into the iPad's capabilities, and add an integrated drawing control to the app, for inserting quick hand-drawn sketches into a notebook. This could also be a way to add equations for OCR in the notebook.
Ok for rudimentary use
Nonetheless, it works in what it is and for many use cases it‘s ok.
Please add Jup Lab
Nevertheless, app itself is great for computations on the server.
Didn’t work at all
failed to display notebook
Do Not Buy
Jupyter notebook over ssh client
The first error is "404". I think this application doesn't support jupyter lab
And second error is "Failed to display notebook". I don't know why the notebook can't render.
Finally, It is a just an webview with ssh tunneling.

Hey 👋 — sounds like you are connecting to a server running JupyterLab 4, which isn’t fully supported yet (but I’m working on it). In the meantime, you should be able to use Juno Connect without downgrading your environment by installing Jupyter’s `nbclassic` package, and updating the server's URL in Juno Connect to `{SERVER_ADDRESS}/nbclassic/tree`. This will work seamlessly alongside JupyterLab 4 / Notebook 7 installation using their backend components. Fell free to reach out to help@juno.sh if you stumble upon any issues. 😇

Any plans to update this app?

👋 Hey—you should be able to delete a server by swiping on the row in the servers list. Please reach out to help@juno.sh if it doesn't work, and I will look into this.
