Great tool for recipes

I’m quite old fashioned in that I keep magazines and recipes books that I use in preference to getting recipes online but for those recipes I do find online, this is a great way of extracting the important stuff (ingredients and method) from the accompanying bumf. The app helps me organise those recipes too, and I’m going to find it really helpful when I go on holiday as I won’t need to have multiple tabs open on my phone with inspiration for meal planning before I go away. You can photograph recipes, and if they are favourites that you have adapted, you can add your own ingredients. The shopping list facility allows you to compile your recipes for the week and gives you quantities of ingredients. It tells you if the ingredient is used in multiple recipes. Recipe sharing means I’ve finally got the biscotti recipe I’ve been meaning to get from my mother in law! I think I’m going to find this app really handy

Just what I needed

I have hundreds of my mum’s recipes that I wrote down in a notebook. I’ve started to transcribe them but this app has made it a whole lot easier. Can’t believe I can set them up in a meal plan too. Great stuff and I can’t wait to see what’s coming up next from the developers.
