User reviews

Has potential, not there yet

I wanted to like this app more than the other one I was trying out. However, this app judges distance in a straight line, like I was a bird. I do need to stay on streets for my car, so this drastically underestimates my mileage. If only my routes were in a straight line.
Correct that and this app is a winner. However that’s too drastic of an issue for me to be able to use this app right now.

Response from developer

Thank you for this report, you're right, and it's not how JustMileage is designed to work. The app measures your actual driven path, but that depends on iOS delivering continuous GPS during the drive. Straight-line distances mean the app only received a few location points per trip on your device: something we can diagnose and fix. If you're willing, please reach out via https://www.justmileage.app/support and share the file from JustMileage → Settings → Share Diagnostics (it contains only the app's technical tracking log, no personal info, and it never leaves your phone unless you send it). Meanwhile, checking that Location is set to "Always" with Precise Location on in iPhone Settings → JustMileage may improve things immediately. We'd love to earn that "winner" verdict.
