About

Who has the kids right now? With Justoo, both parents always know. Justoo gives two parents — and, if you like, a grandparent or sitter — one shared, glanceable view of every hand-off, plus a calm safety net that catches the one that slips through the cracks. No accounts, no passwords, no sign-up: name yourself, create your household, and invite your co-parent with a single tap. Everything is encrypted and lives only in your own iClouds. There is no Justoo server and no tracking. WHOSE DAY IS IT? Set your parenting-time rotation once — week-on/week-off, alternating days, 2-2-3, or every-other-weekend — and Justoo answers "whose day is it?" every morning, shows the week at a glance, and tells you when custody next changes hands. Every hand-off is logged with who did it and when. HAND-OFFS YOU BOTH AGREE TO Passing the kids to your co-parent isn't a one-sided dump — you propose it, they accept, and only then does it transfer. Confirm a drop-off and your co-parent gets a gentle "they're safe." Nothing changes hands by accident. THE SAFETY NET If a hand-off is started but never confirmed — or a scheduled one is never even begun — Justoo sends an urgent alert to both phones that breaks through Focus and Do Not Disturb. It tells you honestly whether your net is armed, and lets you fire a real test alert so you know exactly what it sounds like. WHAT YOU GET - One-tap invite — a private iCloud link. No email, no password, no account. - Custody rotation — week-on/week-off, alternating days, 2-2-3, every-other-weekend; whose day it is and the next swap. - Two-party hand-offs — a hand-off transfers only when the other parent accepts. - Today dashboard — the most-pressing hand-off first; quiet until something needs you. - The safety-net alarm — an unconfirmed or un-started drop-off alerts both phones (Time-Sensitive; breaks through Focus and Do Not Disturb). - Custody Ring everywhere — Lock Screen, Dynamic Island, and a Home-Screen widget: who has the kids, at a glance. - Places and geofences — pin a school or home and arrival auto-confirms the hand-off, using minimal battery. - Hand-off photos — a quick "here's Mia, safe" from the drop-off. - A message log you can both trust — messages can't be edited or deleted. Timestamped, identical on both phones. Export as PDF (Premium). - On my way — one tap arms the net and lets your co-parent watch you approach with a live arrival time (Premium). - Shared chores and lists — check one off and it's done for both of you. - Undo, Face ID App Lock, and Quiet Hours. - Private by design — encrypted in your iClouds. No server. No tracking. Rated 4+. Justoo is free and fully usable, and the safety net is never behind a paywall. Premium adds your whole care team (up to 6 people), recurring hand-offs, live "on my way" sharing, PDF export of your message record, unlimited lists, places and children, and automated arrivals. Justoo is a coordination and support tool for parents. It helps you stay in sync and flags a hand-off that looks unconfirmed — but it does not supervise your child, cannot guarantee safety, and is not a substitute for your own attention and judgment. You are always the responsible adult for your child's care and safety. EULA https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

What's New in Justoo

2.1

August 5, 2026

This update is about the first five minutes — and about staying in control of your own data. GET GOING IN THREE TAPS Setting up your first hand-off used to mean a walkthrough that created nothing, then a form. Now there's Quick Start: who it's for, what's happening, when. Three taps, every answer a tap on a labelled icon or a real time like "This evening · 6:30 PM". No empty forms, no date wheels. You finish with a real child and a real hand-off on Today — not a demo. • Tap "Create your first hand-off" on Today to try it • Finish on a plain-words summary, and hear the safety alarm once if you want to know the sound JOIN WITH A CODE Sending an invite link means the other parent has to open it in a browser, which doesn't always work — a different phone, a locked-down device, a link that opens the wrong place. Now you can share a join code instead: they tap "I have a join code", paste, and they're in. No link, no browser, no account. Find it on the invite screen or in Family. REINSTALL WITHOUT LOSING YOURSELF If you reinstalled Justoo and rejoined your family, you could end up on the roster twice — with all your hand-offs, history and messages stuck on the version of you that no longer had a phone. That's fixed. Justoo now recognises your iCloud account and puts you back into your existing place, so everything that was yours is still yours. Nothing is duplicated, and rejoining doesn't use up a spot in your family. If you started the family and reinstalled, Justoo offers to bring the whole household back instead of starting a new one. DELETE MY DATA Anyone can now leave and erase themselves without harming the family — a grandparent stepping out, a sitter finishing up, or you closing your side. Your hand-offs become unassigned so nothing is silently dropped, chores stay ticked but stop being credited to you, and this phone is wiped back to a fresh install. Children, places, hand-offs, chores and lists always stay with the people who remain. Deleting your own messages is a separate choice you make yourself — the shared record is deliberately unchangeable, because both of you may need it later. It's in Settings, and it's never hidden behind an "advanced" menu. A CALMER APP TO LEARN Fewer decisions on every screen. The first one offers two paths and nothing else: start a family, or join one. Settings and Family lead with the essentials and tuck the tuning away behind "Show advanced options", which you can pin open for good once you want it. The hand-off editor shows what matters and keeps the rest under "More options" — and expands automatically when you're editing something that already uses it. A brand-new Today no longer stacks up cards for features you haven't reached yet. MORE RELIABLE SYNC Fixed a problem that could stop a household syncing entirely. Errors now say what actually went wrong and what to do about it, instead of a generic apology. Better behaviour in landscape, clearer wording throughout, and a larger automated test suite guarding every release. IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ Justoo is a coordination and support utility for parents. It helps you and your co-parent stay in sync and flags a hand-off that looks unconfirmed. It does not supervise your child, cannot guarantee that any alert will arrive, and is not a substitute for your own attention and judgment. You are always the responsible adult for your child's care and safety. Alerts depend on things outside this app: iOS itself, the notification and location permissions you've granted, your Focus and ringer settings, battery level, network and iCloud availability, and both phones being switched on and reachable. A phone that is off, out of battery, out of signal, or signed out of iCloud will not receive anything. Never treat a quiet phone as confirmation that everything is fine — check directly. Your data stays in your and your family's iCloud. No Justoo servers, no tracking.
