I have recently tried kaaval uthavi app I just triggered when I got a accident within 10 minutes police came so this app was very very useful for the city thank you so much

Does not allow international numbers
Local users can call the local emergency numbers directly. International visitors need this app more but couldn’t register my app using US phone number

I actually received from unknown Number stating tht they call from ELECTRICITY BOARD tht thy terminate electricity Tonight as I ve not paid d bill but we hav paid bill last month itself without fail but thy saying it’s not updated as the server charges were not updated so tht askd me to download App from google App Store..regarding tht i visited Kaaval Uthavi app nd try to call cyber financial complaints bt their response is nothing so ther is no use of any emergency access

Not able to register
I have installed the app and tried to register by providing all details. It is not showing an error message and it is not getting registered also.

As explained by Sri. Sailendra babu, DGP all emergency services are connected in this app. But couldn’t see those nos. Whether these are working in background or still to be installed.
It always requests to give access to camera, prob there could be a bug.
Madurai directory is mentioned, but it is not getting drilled down.
I have selected “Shake alert” option. I just shaked Immediately it goes to control room and got a call from them. But even after deselecting the option, shake alert wirks and again got a call and this could be nuisance to control. Please rectify.

Must have App
I have installed 6 months ago and having till now. This is a must have app for individuals. It got wrongly triggered one time for me and immediately I got call from Police control room and enquired me is their any abnormalities for me. I am really thrilled and happy on their reaction time. And they made follow up call to ensure I am safe. I love it.

Why does this all need access to photos?
This app asks for permission to access photos , I don’t understand why does it need that?
This app is using my location behind my back !
This app is using my location behind my back , my phone , let me know tat without using this app, kavalam sos was locating my location , which is extremely wrong , i trust u and tats why I accepted and switched on the location , but rn i feel unsafe ! How will i even trust this app ? Is this really connected with the police idk , i just trusted i think i might uninstall this app because i dont want my location to be seen by many

Great to see a good initiative taken by police officers for safely of women. This should be promoted more among all women and children to bring awareness of usage of this app during emergencies and critical situations. Kudos to police Team🙏🏼🎖
Unable to register
I am using iPhone XR with latest OS. I am unable to register for whatsoever reason. Please help. There is no response or error message if I click on register button after updating all information
