Why is it locked by a subscription now!
I played this game on the family iPad when i was younger (early 2010s) and had it on my phone with family sharing. Why is it when I went to put it on my personal iPad for my nephew and I to practice our algebra together and it now requires a subscription?!?! we purchased dragon box algebra 5+ and 12+ after trying and really liking the free Lite versions way before Kahoot! Became the seller. Back then the game cost like $10 dollars as a one time purchase.(I cannot remember the exact price but it was more than almost any other apps we were getting at that time and not just by a little) now we are expected to pay for an app monthly that we should already own! If my device can run the app which it apparently still can I would like to have the access to it that we previously paid for. Its not like many other apps I used to use who’s devs have disappeared and the app no longer functions on current systems or devices, no this app is still here just locked behind a pay wall!!!

They offered a week trial which I accepted but then immediately charged me the full year. Don’t trust the free trial offer.

Amazing
I could understand algebra at 7 yrs old! It’s really fun and addicting.
Says “One-time payment” and now I have to pay again?!?
I had loved this game as a child, but I deleted it due to storage problems. I downloaded the app again, and it said I had to pay. I paid $20 as the one time payment AND got a subscription, BUT, in the next few months, it gave me the payment choice AGAIN. I am not paying $40 for some months of a game that you easily get bored of after you finish. The other content is good or ok, but… I am disappointed.

Used to be excellent, but…
This used to be an excellent app (that we purchased access to as a one-time purchase for $20), but it then changed to not allow access to without a subscription… even though we had bought one in perpetuity copy.
So while technically it was very nice, we can no longer recommend this app (or any other Kahoot! Apps).

App will not open after purchasing
I’ve been trying to purchase the app but get stuck on a loading screen after the payment goes through. I’ve tried the below troubleshooting steps:
- Waiting 15 minutes to see if anything visibly changes. It did not.
- Fully closing out of and reopening the app. This closed out of the loading screen and put me back on a screen asking me to purchase the app again
- Reinstalling the app. The same happened as above.
- Attempting to purchase the app on another device. The same happened as above.
I remember this app being quite good, but it means nothing if the app isn’t even in a state where you can even open it. The current support system Kahoot has doesn’t seem to have any obvious way to fix this issue, nor is there any clear method to inquire about anything with a real person.
All in all, this has been a terrible experience. I hope I can get a refund. It has been ridiculous dealing with this and I cannot recommend anyone tries to purchase this app because from what I’ve seen, it likely won’t even open.

Money-grabbing company
I've used the Dragonbox apps since before it was acquired by kahoots. I paid for the apps--it was not a subscription.
After kahoots took over the apps (and turned it into a subscription-only service), I haven't been able to use the apps that I bought. One is still working, and two completely disappeared from my iPad after a child inadvertently tried to down load the kahoots version.
Now, all I have is a receipt from Apple showing my purchase, but no way to get the app back. And kahoots hasn't replied to my email (actually, in an earlier request, they told me to contact Apple).
I understand that kahoots has no obligation to help or support older users, but their non-reply summer it up: You're on your own if you didn't pay for a subscription.
This is unfortunate for me, because the apps themselves were great (before Kahoots took over). And my only recourse if I want to continue to use it is to pay another company for the privilege.
If kahoots customer service had displayed some empathy, I would have gladly bought a subscription to support a good company. But I will not support a company which only cares about their profits.

All Kahoot iPad apps we bought outright have ceased to work and require a subscription
Please let us know how we can keep learning/playing Algebra12+, Big Numbers, Geometry and all your other apps we have purchased outright but now can’t play anymore without a subscription!
Authentication is impossible
Fighting with these apps for weeks. Occasionally one of them will let me in.
Says I have no claim on the content. There certainly is a bill in my subscriptions.
I know the games are good. Kahoot! Is screwing up access to them.
