Excellent As a free game

Have been searching for a kakuro game and this is the best, no annoying ads, near unlimited number of levels, and a reasonable hint system that explains why a certain numbers are impossible.

I understand why some people would say some of the levels are impossible because the difficulty curve of each level is not linear which I can finish some of them under 5 minutes while some others took me more than 30 minutes due to some of the rows and columns requiring indirect and recursive comparison just to eliminate a number, while the hint system can’t detect errors what the users have made.

Nonetheless, I don’t really have much to complain about for such an ad free and free app that I can play it for ages.

Beautiful to use and just the right amount of challenging!

I love this app - thank you so much
I like it because there are no adverts at all and it’s beautifully designed - clean , clear and helpful.
If you want a hint - it doesn’t just tell you a hint - it explains the logical steps leading up to the hint which helps you improve
My only wish is that it would be possible to undo previous steps - it’s very frustrating if you have worked on a puzzle for a long time and then make one error and can’t undo it - so a facility to undo moves would be greatly appreciated

Errors

Some puzzles have errors and can’t be solved - really annoying

Neat idea

Held back by awkward interface.

Great game

This is a great game, easy to play, sometimes tricky to solve, although you can get clues, and best of all it’s free with no ads.
It’s like the good old days.

Fatto bene

Poter scegliere le dimensioni è interessante, un po’ macchinosa la scelta di inserire e disinserire le cifre, ma una volta “sintonizzati” si va via bene

Perfect -1

Perfect game. Except one the font color of the candidate numbers is so light, it's hard to see them when the cell is highlighted.

Two thumbs up !
Great game!

Endless Spaß

Tolle App, kann genauso bleiben, Danke

Trying new Kakuro

Kakuro infinite has disappeared so looking for a new Kakuro game Loved the on the fly generation of puzzles and numerous levels no ads. That said, I like the intuitive noting in this game but the display is hard to read. It would be better with more contrast or color options.

Entering notes is confusing

It really, really suffers from not having a dedicated notes mode like most Kakuro apps. If I have a cell where 7 and 9 are pencilled in and I type 7, it fills the cell with 9. It means each time you want to fill in a square you have to check if there are any notes, and if so you have to delete them. It also means if you mistype a number you have to undo that manually before replacing it with the correct one. It makes it needlessly slow and frustrating to play, which is a shame because it otherwise seems like a great game.

Great Game! NO ADS!

LOVE LOVE LOVE that there are no ads and lots of puzzles. Only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is because I wish there was some additional functionality for something like a note pad so I could temporarily record combinations I was considering vs ones I definitely wanted to exclude.

Almost perfect

The only problem is that the light blue color used is hard to see. It would be easier to use if a darker color.

Tolle App

Sehr gute Bedienung, absolut werbefrei und kostenlos; Dank und Lob an den Entwickler👍

Einfach und einfach toll

Zurückhaltend gemacht, in schönen Farben. Unaufdringlich, gefällt mir.

Und dem Spielprinzip bin ich längst verfallen - es ist eine kleine Sucht :)

New obsession

Love this game. Just a quibble or 2. First, the font color of the candidate numbers is so light, it’s hard to see them when the cell is highlighted. Second, it would be nice to have an option for candidate numbers to automatically disappear when another cell entry eliminates them. Finally, I wish there was an undo button. Overall, though, great game!

Excellent, Free, and no Ads

This is a fantastic app, well designed, sleek, and filled with great puzzles. I highly recommend it. A selfish request, is it possible to add a dark color scheme? I like doing these puzzles at night, and find the white color scheme a bit bright.

Could be one of the best… but…

I do Kakuro to relax, and I cannot look away from the damn clock that is constantly ticking…
Even the simplest level puzzles are quite large… not beginners friendly, for sure!
And a more technical note: I love when the logic behind numbers is very strong, so that if you think, you can solve the puzzle very quickly (e.g. 4 and 12 crossing).

Error tracker will make this app awesome

This is a great app! But please consider introducing an error tracker that highlights the erroneous cells. It’s frustrating to have to reset the entire board when you’re stuck at around 70-80% :(

Great app

Well made, teaches you the game, beautiful, no ads, and doesn’t track activity in other apps.

Needs the ability to note in squares

I do like the simple clean layout. Some puzzles need the ability for the player to note the numbers that could appear in each square. Could you add a feature where the player can add the small potential numbers into a square. I have done a lot of Kakuro and the potential combinations can be very difficult. It’s always fulfilling to be able to solve logically. But, the ones that you have to guess with trial and error are very difficult on an app unless you can see all the potential numbers for each square. I finished puzzle 1 fine, but puzzle 2 has so many possibilities that it would take hours of guessing to figure it out. I could do this with pencil and paper along with the app but that kind of defeats the purpose of using an app.
