I love the content but in the last few weeks it just stops playing quite often. i have a strong and stable wi fi connection, and the app is updated, so
I'm not sure why it's glitching every 15
minutes or so. it's quite annoying, to the point that I now just stream
from the website.

Station is great—but where’s the playlist?
Station management should take a look at WFMU’s playlist automation. I’d help fundraise for it!

Prefer over KQED because you don’t have those long, annoying commercials before the feed starts.

Really liking this app a lot. I have KALW on most of the time and this makes it even easier when I’m not in The Bay Area. My only feature request is …show us specifically what’s playing whenever possible. I often use Shazam/etc to find music I hear on the station but it would be nice not to have to.

Works great!
The app works great. It’s best feature is that it doesn’t have a sponsorship commercial every time you start up the app which becomes annoying if you start and stop it several times a day. The reason I stopped listening to kqed and switched to kalw.

I used the browser site often and the app includes all the features I wished were possible. Thank you to the team at KALW, and to the developers for the thoughtful design of this app!! I love listening in live, and also being able to play on-demand replays.

How often do I listen to KALW? Constantly. But this new app makes it SO much easier! No more jiggling with the funky little antennae cord on my bathroom radio. Easy peasy in the kitchen. Brilliant!

Bright colorful app icon is easy to find on the cluttered screen and getting to the “Listen Live” button is the first thing you see upon opening. Anything else you might look for is intuitively easy to find.
