Dave Kama and Ryan Young do an amazing job explaining the nuances of Rickson Gracie’s jiu jitsu. The content is organized in a logical way. I am glad most videos are maybe two minutes rather than 20 minutes, so I can easily zero in on what I want to know at any moment. Well done!
One of the best ways I’ve found to learn BJJ on the go
I am a huge fan of the KJJ program and this app makes it super easy for me to keep up my training and development even if I don’t have the time or ability to make it to a school.
Dave Kama and Ryan Young have broken down the Kama Jiu-Jitsu system into a really straightforward, clear and very well presented curriculum that makes step-by-step-step learning achievable and enjoyable. As a side note, Dave Kama is one of the original dozen BJJ black belts promoted outside of Brazil and the first in the US to receive a black belt from Rickson Gracie).
I find the content to be very well produced - clearly a lot of time and energy was spent on creating a first rate app. I highly recommend for anyone thinking of learning jiu-jitsu or who may already be training but wants a more self-defense focused style that is ground in the Rickson Gracie method.

Outstanding App to learn Jiu Jitsu!
Includes video learning directly from Professor Ryan Young and Master Dave Kama (Rickson Gracie “Dirty Dozen” Black Belt). App can be used to supplement in person classes, or even as stand alone remote learning. Well designed curriculum!
Easy Access to the KJJ vids & Groups
The app is really clean and gives me access to the videos and groups. Navigation of the Modules for both self-defense and Jiu Jitsu is really straightforward. Let’s me mark videos and modules as complete and still navigate back to them when I need a refresher. New videos seem to be added all of the time. Would love to see an alert, home page notification, or inbox notification of any newly added video that I have access to is added.
