About
Point your camera at a Japanese menu, sign or label: kanji reads it and explains it in your language, line by line, prices included.
Handwritten menus are where other translators give up. Chalkboards, daily specials, paper signs taped to a window: kanji was built for exactly those.
WHAT YOU GET

HONEST BY DESIGN
Translations are marked when uncertain instead of being invented, and the app tells you what it is doing while it reads.
PRIVACY
Photos published to the feed show at most the venue or area name, never your exact position. Free, no ads. Servers in Europe, GDPR.
kanji is a service by glacom (glacom.AI). It can make mistakes: check important information, like allergens, with the staff.
