Good app, needs shorter lists or option to make our own lists

I really like this app, because it’s simple, motivating, and feels almost like a game. One request I have would be to be able to sort flashcards into smaller decks. Working on N2 and N1 vocabulary, you’re working with a deck of 700+, and it’s basically guaranteed you’re not going to get to them all in one round. If these kanji could be sorted into bite-size chunks (maybe thematically) so we could drill smaller decks, that would be amazing.

Best Kanji App Out There

I’m surprised more people haven’t tried this one because this is the best kanji app I’ve found. It’s super comprehensive, has lots of lesson options and a larger and more complete catalog than any other I’ve found. There’s no subscription but a really reasonable one time payment unlocked everything. It’s really the only useful app I’ve found for kanji!

Minimalist but powerful

The app may not have spoken readings or quizzing, but what it does have is all the kanji most people will ever need. The price is reasonable considering it’s a one time purchase and there’s no ads distracting from learning.

The app works great in general but sometimes doesn’t easily recognize straight horizontal strokes unless they’re perfectly straight, which is a challenge if you’re on the bus.

My only other suggestions would be to add hiragana and katakana, and to fix the shuffle mode so it doesn’t repeat characters until you’ve gone through the entire study set.

All in all I’m happy with the app and I’m using it daily.

Strokes don’t recognize

After playing with the app for five minutes I found a bug where certain strokes aren’t recognized even if you do them correctly. Other strokes aren’t as precise and accept any input. App won’t let you progress till you get the order right so this is an issue.

Please update!

It’s a great app. I purchased it a few days ago and now it won’t work with iOS 11. Can you please update it? It’s a wonderful tool but I can’t even access it anymore...
