Poorly Designed - Difficult to Navigate
This app used to be great about ten years ago. Every update since has not been beneficial to users in any way. Why ask for feedback if none of it is ever implemented?
Weather is almost unusable.
Used to be my go to weather app now it’s barely works . When it does work there’s so little information. The radar is completely worthless, it doesn’t even go the entire 12 hours it states !!

Ever since the update the radar doesn’t work. Just repeats the past 2hrs for the 12hr view. I was hoping this latest update would fix it.

Very poor
Navigation in the app wasn’t great before but somehow it got worse with the most recent upgrade. No longer usable enough to warrant taking up space on my device.

I miss the old Kare 11 app that worked great. I just was raving about it to someone and now with this new app I feel horrible I told them to get it. Never can I see the weather. That page doesn’t work. Can’t find the radar. The layout is horrible. Go back to what you had. Don’t fix something that wasn’t broken.

No Search?
Honestly, I couldn’t delete this fast enough. We watch Kare11 every night, but when they prompt you to see the full story on the app good luck to you. I tried my best to search the content, but could find no way to do it. It looks very pretty, just don’t try to find what you’re interested in. Disappointing.

New App is Terrible
It’s slow and clunky. I used to use this app daily. I will try another news app instead.
Your update made the weather app ridiculous.
I can’t see the low on daily temperature graph. The big blob telling you the temp in the radar covers the whole twin cities . The rain gauge can’t close out so it also covers the radar????? Why is it there.
Need to look elsewhere for my weather. :(

Multiple steps backwards
It seems like this most recent major update removed several features.
For starters, on iPad, landscape view was removed, forcing portrait move. Plus, dark mode was removed. On the livestreams, the player controls can't be hidden, and because of this, the bottom third of the stream is darker, and you can't read the ticker stories easily.
The reason why I'm giving two stars instead of one is that the app is significantly faster than the old version. But shipping an app that's faster does not excuse removing features and adding friction to using it. At the very minimum, being able to hide player controls during livestreams to easily view the newscasts should be a priority.

Disgusting ads
App has nice features but the most disruptive (and disgusting) ads, even changing ad preferences.
Bring back the dark mode.

Lost Landscape view on iPad
Using the app on an iPad with a keyboard (in landscape) is suddenly awful, with the window refusing to take up the full width of the screen.
Please Fix ...
New KARE 11 App is great BUT please fix:
- App does not rotate horizontally
- Cannot adjust Body Size of articles

Needs work
The news,especially weather, is not updated on this app often enough. I just tried to catch the latest weather forecast and sat through 6 ads before I finally gave up. I watch Kare 11. I wish the app was updated with the broadcasts at the very least.
