If you change your phone number and it logs you out - you lose your balance
Waste of money
Got a gift card for my birthday waste of money. After putting my email, phone and a pin I found out you can only use it through apple wallet which my phone can’t do due to no nfc tag. I can’t spend any of the money from the gift card, can’t check the balance or access the money. apps trash it’s an absolute scam and I want my money back.

Waste of $100
Added my gift card to Apple wallet. Apple wallet told me the card needed to be verified, when I click on ‘verify card’ it opens this app and then nothing comes up to verify it. I tried this repeatedly but there’s no way to verify the card on Apple wallet, it just opens this app and gives you no prompt or anything. Complete garbage, wish I could get my $100 back

A few deficiencies
- No way to add a card to the app but not add it to Wallet.
- No way to delete or archive used cards.
- Transaction narrative text does not wrap, resulting in truncated text

Extremely poor
When adding my ecard I had to setup an account with this app KARTA,
During the setup process it would not accept my pin but accepted Face ID,
After the account was created I added my ecard everything worked fine until I tried to access the card via the app,
Opened the app and it asked for a PIN,
Funny.. I didn’t setup a PIN, Face ID didn’t prompt so now I’m locked out,
The interface only had 2 options
Enter the pin or forgot pin
I selected forgot pin, gave me a txt verification to confirm it was me that was ok, then allowed me to select a new PIN,
When I tried to confirm it would say I have already used that PIN and to try again…. No matter what combination I tried it would keep giving me that same error message…
Tried to contact tech support, no phone number of course, so emailed in about my issue, got a response that tech support will get back to me within 1 business day…
it’s been 3 and still waiting…
Terrible app, avoid it if possible
Read the fine print when buying E-GIFT CARDS it will have a clause stating you need to use this app….

I would rate 5 Star there is an option to remove used cards.
Very convenient
Awesome way to store and use digital gift cards, so much easier than before. Would love to see businesses adopt this as a way to send gifts to their staff or best customers!
