Beauty skin deep

The stories are narrated well with good background music and age appropriate language however, the app and the playing experience is pathetic. Basic story skip, repeat, shuffle functions are missing. Non-intuitive UI to create a playlist that then gets buried at the bottom. Also - a very small collection - about 50 short stories total. Please improve the basic technical part of the app!!

Thanks for the feedback. We are working on growing the collection of stories and add stories every week. Glad you found the stories to be narrated well and with good sound design. As a small team working on adding content in multiple Indian languages, we are confident that this collection will grow substantially over the next few months while maintaining the audio quality and age appropriate content that many of users love. Looks and sounds very nice. But marked as English and stories are not in English (

Hi, There is a dropdown on the top right on the Home Screen, you can use that to select English as the app story language and see all stories that are there in English . Our children’s new best friend

This app has brought in such a positive change in the way our kids interact with the phone. While Internet and mobile phone have been unavoidable in recent times this app has become a major part of guilt free digital time.
There’s no screen yet the kids are hooked on to it.
Interface so simple and intuitive that even my 4 year old navigates through it all like a pro.
Thank you makers of this app for bringing this to our world!

Happy Mother

This app has that exact thing I would love my children to hear everyday - Listening to Katha room stories has been my 4yr lil one’s favourite pastime at night and he actually falls asleep with these stories - It has literally been a parallel to his grandmother’s stories !! UI is so friendly he operates it on his own and varied content educating about our land and culture is something I am grateful for!! Amazing picture art style is highly intriguing to children !!!

Not just for kids, but for the Indian in all of us

Indian stories, languages, values & culture as short bite-sized audio nuggets—for screen-free time! My son started telling his own stories with near perfect intonation and pronunciation after just one month. Game-changer for digital native families—highly recommend!

Impressed!

What a gorgeous app… from its indian Art and illustrations to its narration quality, Sound FX, the User Interface… it’s all extremely well Designed! The India theme and focus on regional languages is a must for today’s time and young generation. This is exactly the kind of story-telling our kids need to hear. Pls add more content, though. More power to you.
