Not very good
The old app was better. Now when you listen to live stream you get more of the commercials than the actual newscast. This app is more confusing. Switching to another app. Sorry KBTX
great source of news but buggy app
i often get glitched out of the app, and i am frustrated that when i click a notification to a specific news story, im not taken to it on the app. i have to search it myself. i hope these bugs get fixed.
Update crashes constantly
The app used to be easy to navigate and worked well. Now the live player is unstable. At first it plays, but if I touch the screen to make it full screen or mute/unmute it either goes to black or starts another 30 second ad. You have to watch the small version and be careful not to touch your screen in order to watch the live broadcast.

Bad app
This ad is useless. Always behind time and lately not working at all. You get a notification and can’t open the story on the app. Why bother. Who ever does you web site needs to go bad to school!
Worst yet
Unable to pause, stop, or mute commercials. Impossible to read the news stories because of the interruptions.

The new app is not user friendly. Font/layout is poor. Lacks ability to share content. Do you not want us to share?The previous wasn’t perfect but was better. Wait time seems bogged down and waiting to get into app is a turn off. I don’t watch on TV and will stop viewing online at this rate. Sorry.

Update was a step backwards
I agree 100% with the “used to be good” review. Ever since the last update the ads are so frequent and loud that I want to delete the app. Local residents really want local stories. Plus there is now a red (unread item) alert showing on the app that I cannot seem to find to clear or remove. Please fix this app!

I just don’t like the new update to the app. 3/22/26. It takes too long to load. The font is smaller than before. Ads are terrible upon going in to the app. The older version was better. I think yall know. You’ve got to !?!?
Ridiculously loud auto play ads
Why are the ads so extremely loud and autoplay when you open the app? I hate the update it is terrible. Good bye.
Changes Suck
The update to this app have really made it unusable. I get notifications all the time, cannot stop the sounds and you can’t turn off the sound on their minimum 30 second commercials. This makes is impossible to use during the work day.

Whatever they did recently with the advertisement ads is awful ! They used to be smaller so you could differentiate between news & ads but now they are the same size - too many & annoying because if you are NOT careful- you will accidentally click on THINKING you are moving to next story - but instead - you have clicked on an annoying ad then the spam starts :(

Latest update launches lots of ads including videos you can’t shut off!
New Format Disappoints
The latest update of the news app really disappoints. There are far too many “click-bait” options that aren’t news or local or pertinent to what should be offered. The actual structure of news content is also difficult to navigate through. The previous format was much better and far more user-friendly.

Used to be good
Once you get past the LOUD ad to get into the app, it was a decent app. But with the latest update, not only does it have more annoying ads, but the layout is so tiny it’s hard to read. There’s more national news than local news. I already get national news from a better, easier to read app. I cone to this one for the local news.
Also the share button and the contact us email do not work when I tried them.

Bad change
It was better the way it was. There aren’t too many choices for local news online and this one is slanted way left. Sources are mostly CNN which has a low audience. Now the site is clunky and disorganized. You need to fire the person you paid to do this site.

It always shows a notification number on the app, even after opening, or even with notifications turned off in the app.
