About

Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish, in your pocket. This is the parish directory, rebuilt. Find a family, read the week's notices, check the lectionary, and keep your own entry up to date — without waiting for the next printed edition. WHO IT IS FOR The app is for members of Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish. You sign in with the email address the parish office holds for you; there is no public sign-up, and nothing in the directory is visible to anyone outside the parish. THE DIRECTORY Search the roll by name, family or prayer group. Every entry carries the details the family chose to share, and one tap places the call or opens the map. Your own family's entry can be corrected from the app, so the office is no longer the only route to a change of address. WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL The directory is kept on the device. On a weak connection, in a lift, or on a flight, the roll is still there — the app catches up on its own once you are back online. THE WEEK Notices and flash news from the parish office. Worship times. The lectionary readings for the coming Sunday, and the Bible to read them in. Birthdays and wedding anniversaries falling this week, so nobody is missed. THE PARISH The vicar's message, the committee and its office bearers, the parish profile and history, prayer groups and their meetings, publications, and obituary notices for the bereaved of the congregation. PRIVACY A family controls what it shares. Photographs are published only after the office approves them. There is no advertising in this app, and the parish roll is never sold, shared or used for anything but the parish.

What's New in KCMTC

2.0.0

August 24, 2026

Version 2.0 is a complete rebuild of the app. • Sign in with your email address. Every member has an account, and your own family's entry can now be corrected from the app itself. • The directory works offline. It is stored on the device and syncs in the background, so it opens instantly and keeps working without a signal. • Search across names, families and prayer groups, with one tap to call or to open a map. • New this version: the lectionary and the Bible, prayer meetings, publications, and a redesigned parish profile. • Photographs are approved by the parish office before they appear. • Rebuilt for the latest iPhone and iOS, including dark mode and larger text sizes. If you have not signed in before, use "Forgot password" with the email address the parish office holds for you.
