About
Keep only the things you really love, and take them out when they come to mind.
Keepshelf is one place for the movie posters you've seen, the album covers you love, screenshots of lines you want to read again, and the photos and links you liked. Everything stacks up in a grid like a scrapbook on kraft paper. Open a card and its photo and note are pinned up like a slip of paper on a wall, with the note in handwriting.
■ Saving
• From any app: Share → Keepshelf. Save up to 100 photos at once.
• Inside the app, tap + to pick photos, paste, or write a note.
• On Mac, drag in from Photos or Finder.
• Links get a preview image automatically.
■ Organizing
• Sort cards into folders, and add date or text fields to each folder.
• Rate each card from 1 to 5 stars and mark it Up Next, In Progress or Done.
• Select several cards and move them to a folder or to the Trash at once. On Mac, ⌘-click, Shift-click and ⌘A work too.
• When the same photo, link or note shows up more than once, see them side by side and keep just one.
• Lock a folder with Face ID or Touch ID, or hide locked folders from the grid.
• Deleted cards stay in the Trash for 30 days and can be restored.
■ Books look like books, albums like albums
• Covers and bookstore links (Goodreads, Kobo, Apple Books and more) in a "Reading" or "Books" folder stand on a shelf as books with visible spines. "Comics" folders work the same way.
• Album covers and music links (Apple Music, Spotify and more) in a "Music" folder appear as a square cover, an LP or a CD case, whichever you choose. Music links open straight in that app.
• Change the look for each folder, or turn it off everywhere in Settings.
■ Finding it again
• Search titles and notes, and the text inside your photos too. Remember one phrase from a screenshot and it turns up.
• For photos full of text, open "Text in Photo" to read it as text and copy just the part you need.
• Filter by stars or status, and sort by newest, oldest, most stars, title or your own order — all from one View button.
■ Looking back
• Tap a card to see the photo large and zoom in. Swipe sideways (arrow keys on Mac) to go to the next card.
• Give each card a title and a note. Notes can run several lines, and starting a line with "- " makes a bullet.
• Crop and rotate photos; the original is kept, so you can always undo.
• Save photos back to Photos or send them to Messages and other apps. Live Photos and GIFs keep their motion.
■ Keeping it for years
• Export your whole collection as one folder: photos by folder, plus a "Card List" with every note and rating, so you can open it without the app.
• Restore into the same folder and only the missing cards are added back.
• On Mac, back up automatically every week to a folder you choose, adding only what changed.
■ One collection on iPhone and Mac
Your own iCloud keeps the same cards on iPhone, iPad and Mac, photos included.
■ Shortcuts and Siri
Save, find, edit, move to Trash and create folders without opening the app. A JSON command action lets scripts and AI tools use it too.
■ Works with Read Anything
If you also have Read Anything from the same developer, you can listen to your cards out loud. Keepshelf works fully without it.
■ No ads, no account, no tracking
No sign-up and no login. What you save stays on your devices and in your own iCloud. Nothing comes to the developer.

What's New in Keepshelf
1.0.9

• New users get a First Steps card on the first screen that walks through saving a first card and saving with the Share button. • The Trash now shows small photos, so you can see what you're restoring or deleting. • The search field now says it also searches text in photos. • On Mac, tip bubbles are easier to read on a dark background.
