Tbh why would I need to create an account for a light switch? And when I do forget my password it has a timer for a code to rest it, which is taking forever to get in my email. So if you forget your password. You can’t use your LED light no more. 1 star.

I don’t know what the other people are talking about the ads take less then 10 seconds and i use it a lot the Colors are calibrated and stuff and the app works perfectly I especially love it cause I made my friend think her LEDs are haunted by connecting to them and changing the Colors. I love the app allot also cause my receiver for my LEDs is at a bad angle making it hard to change Colors with the remote while with the app makes it really easy. You need to download the app if you want to change your LEDs easy.

Always Disconnects Device
Every time I go to turn my lights off before I go to sleep and it’s incredibly inconvenient. Like clockwork, 10pm and later I have to get out of my bed to unplug the device and plug it back in every single night. I tried downloading the app again and forgetting the device it doesn’t matter.

Why am i watching ads to turn off my lights. I bought a product/ products already just to go to your app and see ads before I can turn off my lights. Like I want to go to bed not watch an ad.
Also you cannot un-add a device even if it’s a device you do not currently own. I accidentally added strip lights and now theres no way to delete it as a device. Why? Just add a remove device option- or maybe i just missed it; but genuinely I cannot find it and if its there its too hard to find.
Otherwise the app works well- turns the lights on and off just fine. Has fun settings and stuff.

I just wanted to take a moment of my time to give you an honest and trustworthy review of this app. Keepsmile works great and can usually auto connect to your devices, and is a great way to control your lighting displays and sound features. But to be honest, this page looks very sketchy and this is to the brand and app itself. KeepSmile is a great app, but getting people to try it is another challenge within itself. The low reviews because of advertisements and the login issues hurt your brand. But what really hurts your brand… is the foreign languages states on all pictures and the app Installation main face. I believe if you took out the foreign clashing text, your brand itself would see a jump in downloads and sales. Good luck, and so far for me this is a good app. But if I get hacked, if the login gets messed up, if this is a scam. I will be contacting apple headquarters, which I work for… and I will assure you this app will be disabled and shutdown, and I will give you the lowest review and reign terror on the customer service line.

Every time you open the app when you need to turn on or turn off the light, it makes you see an ad for 5-7 seconds, UNBELIEVABLE! Never buying their product EVER again

Too many annoying adds
The app works; however, after all the annoying adds that one gets exposed to. This is the reason why I only have one of these lamps, having the need of 3 more lamps.
Scene feature doesn’t work
when I first got em they worked perfectly but after like 2 days it stopped idk why it stopped working but yeah

Why are there’s so many ads
There shouldn’t be ads just to turn a light on and off. Mine didn’t even come with a remote so I had to get the app and it’s super annoying when there’s pop up ads everywhere when I’m just trying to turn on my lights

Definitely Chinese spyware, considering that the LED device has a microphone in it that cannot be turned off.

Absolutely love
This is a must if you lost your remote it is a little hard to set up but other than that I love how you can make custom colors with this app I totally recommend
Don’t get it
I downloaded the app to control it but it can’t find the device I follow the instructions, it don’t work you have to sign up on the app but can’t delete your account it’s not worth it.

The lights are functional, but they spam you with advertisements, this is ridiculous after buying the hardware.
If you use a simple network level ad blocker, this app is usable, i’ve been doing this for years. I highly recommend pi-hole
