About
Keleinik is a private assistant for Orthodox clergy.
A keleinik was the cell-attendant who quietly kept a bishop's schedule, his correspondence and his confidence. This is that role, in your pocket.
IT DRAFTS. The letter to the parishioner whose mother has died. Sunday's announcements. The agenda for the parish council. You say in a sentence what happened and who it is for; it comes back in your voice, ready to send or to soften as you wish.
IT REMEMBERS. Who is in hospital. Which family is expecting. What you promised at coffee hour three weeks ago. Tell it once, in passing, the way you would tell a person.
IT KEEPS YOUR HOURS. Reminders that reach you here and in Telegram, so the one you set in the car is the one that finds you in the vestry.
IT IS YOURS ALONE. Your assistant runs with your files and no one else's. What you tell it is not pooled with other priests', not sold, and not used as training data. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app in two taps.
Keleinik is in free beta. Nothing in the app is for sale.
Built by an Orthodox priest.

The diary now sets a real page from somebody else's beside your own — the same date, from Pepys, Dorothy Wordsworth, Tolstoy and others. Every passage is cut from a public-domain book and checked word for word; nothing here is written by a machine. You choose whose. You can also ask for today to be written up before the evening, and select a few words of any answer to copy instead of the whole of it.
