KendoDou? is a 3D game that simulates kendo, a Japanese martial art. It uses physics to model sword and player interactions, allowing you to practice attacks and defense. You can play against a computer opponent or a friend over local Wi-Fi.
To attack, you first raise your sword by pressing and dragging on the view screen. Raising it above your head reveals target buttons for different attacks. You then drag down quickly to a target button to initiate the attack. Successful hits with sufficient force can lead to a win.
The application is free to download and play. However, it does offer in-app purchases, which may provide additional content or features for users who wish to enhance their experience.
To play with a friend, both devices need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. One player selects Player 1 and the other selects Player 2. Both players then press the 'Bow' button to start the match. After a match, Player 1 can press the 'play' button to reset and start a new round.
There are three primary zones for attack: the head ('men'), the wrist ('kote'), and the body ('dou'). Successfully hitting these zones with enough force is crucial for scoring points and winning matches.
