The Kentavros app is a comprehensive tool for hunters, providing detailed information on hunting regulations and prohibited areas nationwide. It features automatic alerts when users enter restricted zones, points of interest for hunters, and an SOS function for emergencies.
The app includes over 4,000 regulated hunting areas and prohibitions across Greece. This encompasses various types of restrictions such as areas for the protection of the White-fronted Goose, forest prohibition orders, nature monuments, national parks, wildlife refuges, and controlled hunting zones.
The application is free to download and use, but it does offer in-app purchases, suggesting that some features or content may require payment.
The SOS feature is designed for user safety. By pressing the SOS button, users can send a message along with their current coordinates to pre-selected emergency contacts, allowing them to be found easily regardless of their location.
This app offers significant benefits by ensuring hunters are aware of all relevant regulations and prohibited areas, thus preventing violations and fines. The automatic alerts enhance safety, and the SOS feature provides an extra layer of security in case of emergencies. It also centralizes important hunting-related information and contacts.
