Solid app, limited usage
I am still waiting for Apple Wallet integration but the actual app itself is pretty solid for what I can do. I'd also be thankful if I had more use cases out in the real world, usage at a store or a bar

The camera will not load up so I can even scan the front and back of ID. Please fix it 😭

Frustrated
I can’t even scan my id. The app asks for access to camera to scan id, I grant access, it gives me a black screen when it’s time to scan. Have deleted it and reinstalled, still no luck. Also not even half priced books will accept it as form of id.
App won’t load
Insane that when you go to pull up your id it says error the app isn’t loading send a ticket. If these developers knew what they were doing, they would ensure there was a way to self troubleshoot but instead there is this garbage
Don’t bother….Why does this even exist??
Instead of integrating a digital copy of our KY driver’s license into Apples existing wallet app like many other progressive states are doing Kentucky decides to dump a bunch of tax payer money into developing its own app that nobody uses. Just please integrate the digital id’s into apples wallet app so we can leave our wallets and purses at home.

A waste
Not sure why they thought this was the best option for mobile ID. Kentucky was listed as an early adopter of Apple Wallet ID like 5 years ago. Just do that. This was a complete flop.

Badly designed
Whoever wrote the code for this needs to be fired, how the hell do you connect dots with your knows? Instructed not to wear glasses but for those with glasses we can’t read the instructions on the screen. Completely useless app.
Works
Followed the instructions and was able to register on the first try. Not sure at his point how many businesses or organizations will recognize it but should catch on eventually.
Ridiculous can’t even give legitimate rating it’s so bad but have to give a minimum of 1 to post.
Can’t even add my license to the app. It won’t stabilize the photo, keeps calling it blurry or not close enough and then once you finally get the front to scan your supposed to flip it over and go through the same mess to get the back to scan and once you think it’s finally scanning it fails and you have to start over only for it to screw up all 3 times and then you get kicked because of the security placed on the app. App is a joke and doesn’t work correctly from the start. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS JOKE OF AN APP! Just put your license or ID in your wallet and put it in your pocket like we’ve done forever instead of dealing with a headache of an app like this is.

Works perfectly
It works perfectly it’s kind of boring design but it’s just an identification app. This is official app for my States ID
Easy
I don’t know why the low raters were experiencing problems. I loaded the app, followed directions and everything is as it should be. Took a couple tries to capture the id and face recognition for verification, but otherwise no issues.
Pathetic dumpster fire
This is what happens when government agents with a bloated budget they didn't earn takes over a project they have no business being involved with. This is an example of why government is fundamentally parasitic.
Camera Sucks
it won’t focus on the back of my ID whatsoever, i was excited to be able to add my ID to my phone but im extremely disappointed
Poorly designed trash
This app is terribly designed doesn’t allow you to zoom at all and forces to use only the main lens. Consistently gives errors or just flat out won’t scan the ID it either gives blurry, to close or, to far messages then just errors out and makes the entire process start over
The “instructions” are timed so you can just skip to scanning when an attempt errors out

This app is a piece of garbage
Kentucky needs to go on and let Apple handle this because they at least know how. This app either needs to be scrapped or needs a major rework. I would personally prefer it gets scrapped!
Nice to Have a Digital ID
I was a little hesitant to download the app based on the reviews, but I thought I would try it anyway and so far so good. I didn’t have any issues during the setup process. My ID scanned fine. The selfie verification process was a little confusing, but got it on the second try. Think of it like the first time you set up Face ID. You have to move your head, not the phone. It will appear blurry on the screen. I am not sure the reason for all the 1 star reviews. I am running the latest OS with a iPhone 17 pro and haven’t had any snags. Only feedback I would have for the BA or Dev team - from a UX/UI standpoint it would be nice to have my birthday on the main screen instead of having to drill down to the profile information. It would save a little time for when I need to verify my age.
