About

You save things all day. A restaurant someone mentioned on Threads. A workout you meant to try. An article you will read later. Then you forget which app you saw it in, and by the time you find it the post is gone. Kept fixes the second half of that. HOW IT WORKS Tap Share in any app and choose Kept. That's it. Kept saves a snapshot — the text and the picture — onto your phone. Not a link that rots. When the author deletes the post six months later, or makes their account private, your copy is still there. It works from anywhere iOS can share: Threads, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp, RED, Safari, Notes. Text, links, photos and videos. IT SORTS ITSELF Everything lands in one timeline, newest first, the way you already read. Kept also reads what you saved and files it under sixteen topics — food, travel, fitness, tech, money, design, home, pets and more. That happens on your phone, by looking at the words. Nothing is uploaded to do it, and you can change any topic by hand. Add your own note to anything. Why you kept it, what it reminded you of. Your notes are searchable with everything else, and they sit with the thing they belong to. Group related things into collections. Places to eat. Ideas for the flat. Things to buy. COMPLETELY PRIVATE There is no account. There is no server. There are no analytics and no crash reports. Nothing you do in Kept is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere to send it. The only time Kept touches the network is when it fetches a snapshot, and then your phone asks that website for the link directly — exactly as if you had opened it yourself. Nobody sits in between. That also means nothing to sign up for, nothing to cancel, and nothing to leak. WHAT IT COSTS The first 30 things you save are free, with every feature switched on — snapshots, topics, notes, collections, search, iCloud backup, export. After that, one payment unlocks unlimited saving for good. No subscription, no monthly fee, nothing to remember to cancel. Pay once and the app is yours. If you decide not to pay, nothing is taken away. Everything you already saved stays readable, searchable and exportable, forever. THIRTEEN LANGUAGES English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. Kept follows your phone unless you pick a different one. ABOUT VIDEO A video file you share straight to Kept is stored whole on your phone. A video behind a link is only downloaded where that platform's terms allow it — public Telegram channels and ordinary web pages. YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, X, RED and Reddit do not allow offline copies, so for those Kept keeps the title, the thumbnail and the link. WHEN A SNAPSHOT FAILS Some pages need a login. When Kept cannot reach the original, it keeps the link and the text you shared anyway, marks the item, and you can try again later. Nothing is ever lost because a fetch failed. YOUR COPY, YOUR FILES Export everything to a zip whenever you like — items, notes, tags, collections and every picture and video, in one file you keep yourself. Import reads it back and only fills in what is missing, so an old backup never undoes today's work.
