Nice but annoying UI
The app is helpful but the fact that it pops up a dialog complaining that you don’t have notifications enabled every. single. time you open it is so irritating. I don’t want notifications
Great App, but…
I love this app, and am a long-time user. I still use it all the time. I can search for movies just by describing them with the AI powered search tool. I track all the movies and tv shows I want to watch, and list them in different categories. The one feature that would make the app so much more useful would be if data could be synced across different IOS devices logged into the same Kernel account! It’s very frustrating that I have different sets of lists saved on my iPhone and iPad….

Title is self explanatory, I’m sure that’s why I’m having the very specific issue I’m having it’s just unfortunate because I liked this app at first when I added 2 movies to a playlist, then I added 2 more, the last 2 never showed up on my watch, only on my phone app. The watch app is the whole reason I got this app. I’ve tried everything from deleting the playlist and making new playlist but nothing works, hope developer stops neglecting this app for apple watch ASAP.

Almost Perfect
The app is great to use. I love the UI, it looks great and works smooth. Would like to see 2 fixes for it in future updates if possible: 1.) a mark all feature. As someone who tracks all TV shows and came from another TV tracking app, having to manually do “seen” on multiple seasons is time consuming. And 2.) if I’m watching a series and am playing catchup, it auto brings me to the most recent season. Then I have to do multiple clicks to get back to the season I was previously at.

I absolutely love your app. Best Tracker, and I’ve reviewed a lot. But please look into the “Discover” feature for Movies and Shows. It has never updated in my older iOS 16.7. Also, please offer a Light Mode, although I do enjoy the Dark mode, an option for Light Mode would be nice.

Apple Watch app doesn’t work
When I try to open Kernel on my Apple Watch, it just shows a blank black screen. Even the watch complication isn’t accurate either and it just says “Out” on it. The IPhone app works fine but please fix the Apple Watch bug.
Release dates
The release dates are a couple days early.
So bad
Good idea, but so bad realisation. I just lose 30 minutes of life to set it but it not working. In Apple Watch no upgrade information at all. And you want subscription Yhe good luck. Delete and forget.
Best app to keep track of movies
All the app needs now is reviews and a way to remove stuff from the upcoming list that’s about all I can think of…hope this app doesn’t go away
It WAS my favorite
I don’t like getting bombarded with notifications but any time I open the app I have a pop up that tells me I have notifications turned off (duh) and the only way to dismiss it is to hit cancel. Even if I turn it on to appease the app then turn it back off the next time I open the app there it is again

Good App - Opportunity for the all yo be great
Hey Nikias, I live using this app. There are a few things that keep bugging me. Number 1, when a movie is released it will not give me an option to remove it from the upcoming playlist. Now my playlist is full of release movies, so I had to stop using that playlist all together. Number 2, can you add a “seen” or “watched” badge on the movie that we have in the seen playlist? Sometimes I would forget that it’s already watched and I would keep clicking it over and over. Number 3, make it possible to delete the default playlist.

The content is good, however, the app has serious issues. It is very “juttery”and every time you turn it on you get prompted to turn on notifications. You cannot do anything until you dismiss the prompt. To add to that, the notifications actually don’t work. So you turn them on and don’t get them. Again, good content, but your app needs some serious work guys.
