Miscellaneous bug fixes and performance improvement

Useless app

I did not think the iPad app could be worse then the iPhone version but Kessil managed to achieve the impossible. Not in the good way. There’s no way to restore the settings from back up making the app virtually useless especially considering that trying direct connect to the the fixtures fails 3 out of 4 times.

I love the Kessil optics but managing multiple AP 700s on different WiFi networks has become so painful I will think twice when choosing the lights for my next setup. I’m hearing Ecotech has a much smoother setup process.

Awful

Of all the tasks needed to maintain a reef tank, this Kessil app and ap700 are the most frustrating and least reliable of all..wish I could get my $$ back.

Use the iPhone app instead

The iPad app is known to not work well. Kessil support recommended I use the iPhone app instead after I wasted hours trying to get this to work. The iPhone app does work, though not the best interface.

It is very surprising to me that they leave this defective app on the App Store, rather than either updating it or deleting it.

Very disappointing

Spent $800 on an AP700 and expected a lot more from this app. 8 out of 10 times I launch the app the AP700 is not found. I end up having to refresh the page numerous times or closing the app and reopening before the light is detected. I would strongly recommend looking at Kessil alternatives just due to the poor execution of this app.

Room for improvement

On iPad Mini 4 Version 9.2, the demo functions don't work at all and you can't add those episodes (lightning, storms, etc) to custom schedules... Entire thing could be more intuitive, like when you move a reference point the ones after should shift with it, etc...
The light is great. The app has room for improvement. Hopefully the bugs will be worked out before the iPhone version...
