Absolutely Love

I’m currently using this app now. I feel like I have bigger hands (which I found out I dont) but I sometimes feels like the keys are too small. When I had my Samsung I was able to adjust the length of my keys and it made it so much easier for me to text since I naturally reach when texting. And having a longer keyboard is a huge deal since that's a feature Apple doesn't offer. Ill for sure be keeping this app!

Not working

I got this app because I wanted to have the Colemak layout and some keyboard customization, but Coleman just doest work. I have english Colemak as the first language and only in the app and keyboard kit as the keyboard I’m using as I can tell by the keyboard being blue I don’t know that I’m doing wrong but besides that it is a normal keyboard customization app that works.

Hi! Thank you for letting us know about this. Have you enabled Full Access? This is needed for the changes you make in the main app to sync to the keyboard. We will make this clearer in the various settings screens.

Hi Kyler! Thank you for your review, but for clarity the app does not log your keystrokes. The system warning writes that enabling Full Access gives the app the possibility to do so, but KeyboardKit does not log your keystrokes. :)

Layouts aren’t that customizable

Only certain buttons (menus, more like) can be removed or added. No custom layout available for standard letter/number input keys.

Thank you for your review! We are planning richer customizations, like being able to create fully custom layouts. But this requires some logic that is not yet in place, so it will take some time to get it done.

Exactly what I was..

.. looking for except better. When changing the in app settings though, it can sometimes lag. Keyboard, the actual production, works amazing. Replaced Swift keyboard finally.

I love this app I have requests

can you please add a ton of more options for example add animation options for example fading though the spectrum colors and the colors wave with many options and I want a ton of options for different animations when you type on the keyboard and add background with a ton of animations options just like the Typiora keyboard application and add options for different keyboard click sounds and add an option for making the keyboard curvy like the word flow keyboard application and add sticker animation when you type on the keyboard for example fireworks and other stickers animations that you can customize and add font options for the letters on the keyboard

Issue with delete button in emoji layout

I'm using this keyboard right now. It's an alternative of built-in iOS keyboard. But I have a small issue. That is the delete button in emoji layout is not in the right position. I meant the delete button in the emoji layout is slightly out of keyboard's boundary. It's so hard to delete words and emojis from that. I hope you guys will fix it in the next update. I'm really enjoying with this keyboard.

Solid but missing something important

Love that I can add the number row, but I don’t like that I can’t add my own text replacements. Or use the built in text replacement feature. I also don’t like how small the number key button is. The keyboard on Apple has it as a double size but it is not possible to do that with this app. Otherwise, love how it looks like the Apple Keyboard!

The beer keyboard on Apple has it as a double size but it is not possible to do that with this app. Thwrwise, love how ut looks like the Apple Keyboard!

The best app for adding an extra row of accented letters, just wish they would change to capital letters when I press the button for capital letters.

One of the best keyboards

This keyboard app helps me transfer from android back to iPhone because this app actually lets you customize the hight for free which is the best part I love you guys for doing that and I appreciate it so so much

Good For Free

Can customize/color keypad to preference is what’s good. Height adjustment is great, but doesn’t have width adjustment so keys aren’t so narrow together, even having to make another row of keys will be compromiseable for this. Can use emojis is a plus. The real downside is subscribing, which is preferably better to pay a one time cost to own for life. With that, KeyboardKit is good for free! 🙂👍
