What's New in Keywave

1.02

November 2, 2026

The text box works. It has since 1.01 - we just never said so. If you tried Keywave and couldn't tap the message box to type or paste your text, that was a bug in our own interface: an invisible gesture layer sitting on top of the text field, absorbing every tap. It made the main screen useless, and it is what the reviews on this page are about. It was fixed in version 1.01, released 28 August 2026. Those release notes said "Bug fixes and other small changes," which told nobody anything. So, plainly: select your keys, type or paste your text, encrypt or decrypt, copy the result. All of it works. Your keys. Your device. Nobody else's business.

Wont let me type text in after selecting keys

Grest app if itd work

Response from developer

Thanks for the first half. The second half is fixed. You picked your keys and then couldn't type, because an invisible gesture layer in our own interface was covering the text field and blocking taps. Ours, not yours. Gone in 1.01, out 28 August 2026.

Can’t encrypt or decrypt

App has potential except one major problem you can’t click on the encrypt or decrypt box which is kinda the whole point of this app.

Response from developer

"Kinda the whole point" is fair. An app you can't type into isn't an app. The cause was ours: an invisible layer in our own interface, parked over the text box, swallowing taps. 1.01 fixed it, 28 August 2026. The one star was earned. If Keywave is still on your phone, update it. If you deleted it, fair enough — the version on the store works.

Good but has a major bug

I cant click on the message box to paste a message in. It just wont be clicked on.

Response from developer

You found it first, and you were right: not your phone, not your iOS version. An invisible gesture layer in our own interface was sitting on the message box, eating every tap. Fixed in 1.01, out 28 August 2026. Five stars while the main screen didn't work — noted, and appreciated. Update and paste away.
