Terrible app
The app does not work! I have tried multiple times to link a lock and it will not link. There is no customer support to assist with the issue.
Works Ok
I’m a huge fan of the lock itself, works great in cold (-30 some days), rain, direct sun, etc. but this is about the app. It has some flaws, doesn’t like to connect sometimes, or resets its settings to “only when using app” so my “magic touch” option doesn’t work for me. When it actually does work (which is actually pretty often, more often than not), it’s just too short of a duration. My issue is I have to drive up to my home and then back into my garage. When I drive up, it recognizes that “hey, he’s home, time to get ready!” and by the time I get back to the door after parking, the longest setting (30 seconds) has already passed and I’m stuck putting in my passcode or opening the app and using it directly. Not an issue most of the time but when it’s pouring rain, the magic touch or smart open would be really nice. If there was a way to get some longer times options for it to stay in those modes (maybe 1 minute, 1:30, 2 mins) it would be phenomenal and would definitely be a full 5 stars! Otherwise, no other real complaints right now!

Multiple issues-how do you talk to someone
Multiple issues with the lock. No way to contact anyone through the phone. Only an email address.

I have no complaints. I’m using the app for me and my family and sometimes renting out a room. It’s straight forward and easy to understand

Must be me but app is fine and customer service is amazing
I have owned multiple locks since they first came out on Kickstarter. Are using the app with a Z bridge and after a few emails back and forth with May from support she worked to get things going and all is fine. We have many many rental properties we rent out on a short term basis plus have multiple coming and going here at the main house. Everyone gets their own code and invite them to use the app if they want to, everyone has to have time-limited access and no one has had an issue. Not sure what the old app or the older way of doing things was but currently things are smooth and effective. Maybe we weren't expecting too much so are completely satisfied but surely the few poor ratings seem out of line with our experiences. The only thing that could be better would be to have better battery life but they have no options about that as Zigbee controls the energy usage specs in lieu of the radio feature. We used a few on code only and the battery lasted as described. If a new version adds more features bring them on they can only make things even better

Just installed only three days and already crashed.
Keywe3 app is not worth to buy keywe lock.
Nope
Took away the ability to add additional passcodes for other people without them having to download the app and register. I had additional codes for my apartment maintenance and other people who may enter my home in an emergency to care for my pet or retrieve items if I was away from home. It is more secure to give these people their own codes than to share mine, but they aren’t going to download the app as they don’t access the lock on a regular basis. So nope, went back to the previous version.

Can’t connect, crashes
Just downloaded and it has crashed 4 times. I’m also unable to connect to my keywe although no one else in the family is connected and battery is fine. Interface looks intuitive and easy to use if able to work out the bugs.
Simplified!
The app is great! It is really simplified compared to the old version and easy to interact. I rent out a property and the management can be done very smoothly.
No way to contact them
The first keywe app I had was black - and it put an app on my apple watch. At some point that quit working and the app store listed it as "old" but there is a new keywe3 app (green)-- that has less options than the previous app and I can't go back -- unless I delete the new app and start over??? I tried to contact the company but the website says I'm not registered thru my Gmail even though I can see my lock in the app and it lists my email. Very frustrating since I have 2 locks. And the the "Contact us" link doesn't work. There's no phone number. There's no place to create a new account. Unless you have telepathic control, I don't recommend.

Bad Update
Bad update,. It’s easier to navigate but it never really worked. Smart Open never worked.

New app does not work
The old app was clunky at best, but it worked. I have had this new app for 3 days and still cannot connect to either lock.

Problems with the new app
Hello, ever since I bought this product it has been working amazing for me, but the updated version is super complicated to log in, I have Airbnb properties using this app in other countries and it disconnected me from all the door-locks to the point I need to travel to set them up again vía Bluetooth. In addition to this now I’m not able to create a guest code rather you have to send an text invitation which creates an additional charge plus complication when you have to text someone to a different country. I feel you guys needed to keep the old version running and the updated version for those who wanted the update but not force everyone to the new app. PLEASE BRING THE OLD VERSION BACK or at least the possibility to create a guest code.
