KeyWitness is a keyboard that creates cryptographic proof your text was typed by a human on a real device — not pasted, not generated, not AI. HOW IT WORKS Type on the KeyWitness keyboard. It captures your unique keystroke rhythm — timing, position, pressure. Tap Seal, and the keyboard builds a W3C Verifiable Credential signed by your device's Secure Enclave. Share the link. Anyone can verify the proof in their browser — no app needed, no trust required. WHAT IT PROVES • Human input — keystroke biometrics that can't be faked • Real device — Apple App Attest confirms a genuine, unmodified iPhone • Content integrity — Ed25519 signature locks the text to the moment • Owner confirmation — optional Face ID proves the phone's owner approved it PRIVACY BY DESIGN Your text is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it ever leaves your device. The encryption key lives in the URL fragment — our server stores an encrypted blob it cannot read. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics. OPEN STANDARDS Built on W3C Verifiable Credentials 2.0, did:key, eddsa-jcs-2022, and BitstringStatusList. Any conforming verifier can validate a KeyWitness credential. Fully open source.
