Great service good food, clunky app design
The graphics look outdated but besides that it works like a charm every time. I do wish the rewards were slightly more intuitive and you could see what rewards you qualify for and can automatically choose that reward with points. But I can’t complain KF brings me nostalgia every time I am able to get it. Just wish the app was more polished.

Don’t trust Updates + Staff not great
I ordered four kolaches on the app and was waiting. The app kept saying “in progress” but it wasn’t a big order and there were not a lot of people so I went in. My order was already bagged and sitting under the counter! I don’t know if the staff has to send updates to their system or it’s something else but my order still said “in progress.” Okay, now the staff person with whom I spoke: I stated my purpose for there and she found my order. She grabbed the bag with my order then looked around lost THEN put it back under the counter! WTH I must’ve given her a funny look because she asked “mobile order?” I said Yes and my name. She looked around again and I even stated how many items in order. She repeated my name back to me in a question and I said yes. She produced the bag again then handed it to me. That’s when I know for sure I gave her a quizzical look then walked out. The icing on top of this clusterbiff was that the app still said “in progress.” This app is bad but so was staff so KF needs to refine some things. I still love the kolaches but I know to set aside more time for this place. (It’s the only one by my work so I don’t want to go to another location in a different city.)

Bummer
Ordered on the app and it said order will be ready by 9:43, I got there about 9:35, told them that I was just waiting and wanted to let them know I was here. They said it’s going to be an hour until my order was ready. They cancelled it for me but they said it’ll take at most 5 business days to get my refund

Doesn’t let you cancel order
Does not let you cancel order - even when store is asking you to, because they are out of the items you ordered.
Mobile order
I ordered at the app to save time before I got to the store. I tried to cancel less than a minute after I placed the order when it said it would take over 30 minutes for two kolaches but the app would t let me cancel. I went inside the store to online orders, yes it was busy but not one employee acknowledged me for almost 10 minutes. I was only acknowledged when a customer at the register asked if I had a question. I ended up leaving, without my order.

Bad service three times in a row
This is the third online order I have placed only to get there and what I ordered online is out of stock and has been replaced with “something similar” without asking me first to see if I want the replacement. Kolache Factory needs a better inventory system for online ordering. Also, I don’t like that there is nowhere in the actual app to leave a review.

I keep getting Paytronics error codes in the app. ??? Can’t even use the app anymore so all credits accrued are now useless.

I’ve been eating breakfast almost everyday at the spring green store in Katy. The staff is amazing and the kolaches are better here than any store around

Skip The App, Eternally Frustrating
Invalid token, inability to add credit cards that are perfectly fine, accounts that are mixed up with other people … the rewards system seems to be a mess too. When I check in, in the store, they have different name and phone number for me. I correct it in the app and it’s good for a short period of time and it gets changed back. Things are a mess right now, hopefully one day they get it sorted out. Skip the app for now.

Excellent service
The flavors were all excellent. The only thing we noticed was that the bread was more doughy and dense than before. Very efficient, great customer service.
Drinks?
I like the app but there is no drinks unless you’d like a huge party size coffee for your office staff.

Was to be issued a credit for an order I did not get and credit was not issued.

is unique if you join their rewards program, but staff will walk you through once and then you’re good to go. The rewards are good. The spinach and cheese kolaches are really tasty, but the muffins are out of this world. They bake them fresh upon ordering, so I order online and then pick them up later, warm and right out of the oven. Yum!
