Alright app, articles are broken though
Within the past couple of months or so, articles have become hard to navigate. The cover image is no longer properly scaled to the display so it appears FAR too large, often times taking up more space than the actual article.
The way the app handles ads is also super annoying. So much so, I was forced to use the website with an ad blocker to stay up to date on a violent life threatening situation near me. Having to constantly press "continue to app" on the same exact ad when it could just be a banner is terrible for the end user. Yes, why would I want to see what's happening, right? I suppose I could use some roofing work, let me call in the middle of this standoff!
Also, please bring dark mode to the app. It's a fantastic accessibility feature.

Do not update
Today there was this update and KVLY update both were working before update now neither will launch. I get just spinning wheel like trying to load. IOS 16.3.1
Garbage
After recent update the app doesn’t even load.
Sadly, the godless liberals control the narrative.
Unbelievably biased news. Push push push that liberal Godless agenda. Read carefully. You can find actual news here but you have to sort out all the bias
Not good
It often freezes up. There is more news about Minot than about Bismarck Mandan when it should be the other way around based on population
WAy to much Minot news
Bismarck is a large enough town to have our own news. We really are not concerned with Minot and all there crime
Worst app ever.
This has got to be the worst app ever. I have used this app for years and now out of the blue it locks up in the news and you can’t get out of it unless you delete the app. That would be my recommendation, delete the app and use a different one.
5 day out look
Please bring back the 5 day out look
Good news app!
Good news platform. Love the dark mode, although your news widget has been frozen since installing the app. Does not refresh during the day, or even daily anymore. Please fix. Thanks!
Would be 4 star
Most people I know do not like your hybrid choice on radar and a matter how many times I said it it goes back to highbred if you would set itDefault two standard would be no either need for additional weather app
Still quirky
Have had to uninstall and reinstall several times now. White screen and no news at times. iPhone 7
Needs some work!
I rely on this app for news information since I don’t tend to watch the local news reports. I find it very annoying that most of the headlines pertain to Minot. If I wanted Minot news I would look for KMOT-TV instead of KFYR. And while I understand that you cover western and central ND, I would like to see more coverage of Bismarck-Mandan when I go onto the app. Perhaps there could be a filter to choose your preferred area. Also, the sports portion could use some upgrading. It seems like many of the headlines are old and the scores aren’t updated quickly. I do like the weather piece and the closings tab when there is inclement weather. I’ve been a KFYR viewer my entire life and hold them up as the best in ND. Now please do something with this app to restore my faith!

Mostly like new version
Lots of new options in the app. It however does not have my county listed as a option on the by countries weather notifications section.
Love the new update
Thank you for changing your app. I love the new changes that were made. The last update was terrible and wouldn't use the app because of it. Great change!!
Doesn't work after update
Doesn't work after update
Won't open.
This was my way of keeping up on local news but now the app won't even opens. As soon as I tap it, it force closes. 😕
Useful
Useful for travelers!!

There is no "back" button to go back to the list
