About

Kickon is a Safari extension that makes chat on kick.com better on Mac, iPhone and iPad. Your screen stays awake, deleted messages stay readable, and links, emotes and fonts look the way they should. Everything lives in one place: tap the rocket at the top of the chat. Settings sit in four tabs (General, Chat, Filters and Player), and every feature can be switched off. KEEPS THE SCREEN AWAKE Your Mac, iPhone or iPad won't dim or lock in the middle of a stream. DELETED MESSAGES STAY Instead of "Deleted by a moderator" you see what was said, greyed out. Messages of timed-out and banned users too. A CHAT YOU CAN FOLLOW • Link previews for images, YouTube, TikTok and X posts, right in the chat • 7TV emotes with name paints and badges, an emote picker and autocomplete • The channel's own !commands, learned from its bot and suggested as you type • An @ inbox of messages that mention you or words you choose • Search the chat, including from:name for one person's messages • Missed messages filled in after your device sleeps, with a pill to jump back • Saved messages: phrases you type often, sent in one tap PEOPLE IN CHAT Tap a name, or an @mention of it, to see that person's recent messages, mention, highlight or mute them, or keep a private note about them. Notes sync through iCloud, and a pencil mark shows the people you've written about. A CALMER CHAT • Highlight the streamer, your words and the people you choose • Collapse muted users, chat bots, repeated spam and emote-only messages • Shrink channel point rewards, subs and gifts to one line, or hide them • Lighter shades for hard-to-read name colours, and alternating backgrounds • San Francisco, New York or SF Mono in place of the site's font, with adjustable text size A PLAYER CLOSE TO LIVE Watch opens the stream in the Kickon app, about as close to live as the site's own player, with picture in picture, AirPlay and sound on the lock screen. Chat stays in Safari next to it. One switcher moves between the stream page, the chat on its own and the player. There's also a listen button with a sleep timer, a chat-only popout with stream info, and quick links to the channel's videos, clips and tip page. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Kickon asks Safari for access to kick.com and nothing else. There is no account, no server and no analytics. Your settings, saved messages and notes stay on your devices and sync through your own iCloud, which the developer can't see. It also blocks the ad and tracking services kick.com loads. Kickon is open source under the Mozilla Public License, so you can read every line. TURN IT ON iPhone and iPad: Settings › Apps › Safari › Extensions › Kickon, turn it on and allow kick.com. Mac: open Kickon, click Open Safari Settings and turn on Kickon, then allow it on kick.com. Kickon speaks English and Polish. Kickon is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Kick.
