About
KidneyColor is a professional documentation and reference calculation tool for kidney transplantation teams.
Create and manage kidney transplant case records, including donor information, medical history, laboratory values, biopsy findings, macroscopic graft appraisal, recipient data, and post-transplant follow-up information.
The app calculates KDRI and KDPI from user-entered donor data using the current source-referenced OPTN/HRSA donor-only methodology and bundled KDPI mapping table. Medical references and citations are available in the app under Profile > Medical References.
Users can document macroscopic graft observations such as kidney perfusion, cortical surface roughness, adherent perinephric fat, artery count, and atheroma plaque presence. Biopsy and macroscopic score fields are documentation aids based on user-entered observations and are not standalone diagnostic criteria.
Follow-up records can include delayed graft function, early graft loss, graft and recipient survival, and eGFR values at 3, 6, and 12 months post-transplant.
All case data is stored securely with authenticated user access. Completed cases can be archived for professional reference and research workflows.
Designed for transplant surgeons, nephrologists, and clinical researchers involved in kidney transplantation programs.
Disclaimer: KidneyColor is an adjunct documentation and source-referenced calculation tool for qualified healthcare professionals. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, does not recommend treatment, and does not determine whether an organ should be accepted or rejected. Users should verify all inputs, apply independent clinical judgment, and follow institutional protocols before making medical decisions.
