About

Your habits find their orbit — grown the way real planets are. Kidou turns your habits into a living, hand-grown solar system. Open it and you don't find a dashboard — you find a night sky. The more you show up, the more it grows: worlds are born, drift into orbit, and slowly come to life. ■ Grown the way real planets are Every habit is a celestial body. Each day you keep it, you "turn an orbit," and the body visibly gains mass. As orbits add up, it accretes through the true stages of planet formation: Dust → Pebble → Planetesimal → Protoplanet → Planet Big goals break down into the smallest possible step — start with "just get ready" — and every few days a stage completes, so growth is always something you can see. ■ You choose: advance or stay Every stage-up is an invitation, never automatic. Move to the next stage, or stay here a little longer. Staying is never a penalty. If a stage feels heavy, you can always drift back to an inner orbit, and your record is never lost. ■ A star ignites at your center When your first habit fully grows, the "you" at the center ignites into a star. Each new planet you form lets you evolve its color — amber, blue-white, pure white, violet, crimson, jade. Tap the star for an overview: worlds growing, worlds formed, total orbits, and an observation log of every milestone. ■ Never shaming, never nagging No "failure." No "streak broken." No "missed." Pausing costs you nothing. A habit that lapses simply drifts away like a comet on a long orbit — and it always returns. No red warnings, no nagging notifications, no guilt badges. ■ Scatter your first dust in about 90 seconds Pick from twelve templates or name your own goal, see its five-stage path, choose a color, and take the first step. ■ Home Screen widget Mark today's orbit right from your Home Screen — a calm checklist, one step at a time, without even opening the app. ■ Entirely on your device No account, no login, no cloud, no ads, no tracking. Your data stays on your device, with no network except Apple's purchase processing. ■ Pricing Grow up to three habits for free. A single one-time Planetarium Pass removes the habit limit, so you can grow as many habits as you like. No subscription — you pay once. The price is shown in the app. There is no rush. Your solar system grows by exactly as much as you showed up for today.

What's New in Kidou

1.0.1

July 30, 2026

Your star now shines only while you keep going. • After a day with nothing at all, the star quietly goes dark. Turn a single orbit and it lights again — the colors you've unlocked and your progress are never lost. • The widget now rolls over to the new day on its own. Yesterday's checkmarks no longer stay on. • Fixed: an orbit logged from the widget late at night could be counted on the following day.
