About
Before this app, there was a father who told his children bedtime stories himself, built
from words they made up. This app carries that on: your child names three words, you type
them in, and tonight a story grows from them that never existed before.
The story carries your child's name, if you want it to, and weaves the three words into it
more than once, including near the end, so they are really heard. A soft chime marks the
moment each word appears, and it can be switched off.
Two voices tell the story: Lucy, warm and soft, and Luca, calm and deliberate. You can
listen to both before choosing, and change your mind later.
For more than one child in the same home: each gets their own name, age and language, and
the app remembers who is listening tonight.
Free and without an account: white, brown and pink noise, ocean sound, a calm heartbeat and
a muffled womb sound, plus twelve calm music tracks to choose from.
A timer (15 to 60 minutes, or 2 hours) fades out gently instead of stopping abruptly, and a
night mode softens peaks in the sound so nothing startles a sleeping child. Playback keeps
going even with the screen off.
Every story is calm and made for children. No advertising.
To be upfront: the story and the voice that reads it are freshly made for you in that
moment, from your child's three words, not pulled from a library of finished stories. That
is what makes every night different.
Your children's profiles are saved only on this device, no account required. For a story, the three words, age, language and, if entered, gender and first name go to our server and the storytelling services.
Kids Jukebox tells stories in German, English, Turkish, Spanish and French, and the whole interface is available in all five.
Built for parents who are tired in the evening, or cannot be there in person, and still
want their child to hear a story that is truly theirs.

If our child-safety check stops a story partway through, you get the lanterns for it back. If a purchase cannot be credited, the app now tells you how we can help. During a call or an alarm, the waiting music now pauses too. The privacy notes in the app say more precisely what is sent for a story.
