Good concept, not game
The concept is good, I actually decided to purchase this when I saw the ambiguously toned hand which is great for racial diversity for children...unlike almost all the other games that have light peach hands.
Unfortunately, the game is not intuitive and is NOT for beginners. This game does not recognize when keys are being pressed nor does it show when a learner is doing well or not. There is no system of “reward” that creates the perception the learner is doing whatever is expected and there are no clear directions that explain what is expected. I am sad that the game is not what I thought it would be and I would advice people NOT spend $2 on this.

Try the free update. Scores are reported instantaneously as the keys are pressed, so feedback is immediately provided. As accuracy improves, the percentage score goes up. Score are automatically saved so students can come back at a later time to try to improve their score. Of course in music the reward is primary a result of what is being heard and in this app we use .wav files that were digitally sampled from a grand piano.
